According to CANTER IL’s post on FB, “has fox hunted, been trail ridden and can be ridden on backside in a leadshank.” Sounds like a nice guy for $1,500 (he’s 16.1 and age wasn’t listed, but will probably be in the ad when it goes up).

He looks like he has a super quiet disposition. I love that and think he would be a good type for a first OTT lower level ammy horse type, probably will be easy! Would vet him thoroughly because he doesn’t move straight (he has some swinging in his hocks) but doesn’t look uneven to me so I bet he would be OK with maintenance, just want to know what you are dealing with. I hope he finds a great home!

There are lots of nice horses on Canter IL. I especially liked a mare Thrill Maker, beautiful face and eye, nice build, very balanced. And BAY!!!
Likewise Nittany Lioness - just my type except for being about a hand too small for me…
I’ve been very impressed with the quality of horses out of CANTER Illinois. Pirate and AP Prime (both qualified for Rolex this year) came off the Fairmount backside. And of course my guy, who is all class.

Me too… I wish IL wasn’t such a trek for me… I’ve been drooling over most of their listings since they started the IL chapter.
I really like this one. He looks a little sore behind but I love his build.

I keep coming back to this guy. I’d love to make him my hunt horse. I cannot in any way afford two, but I’m hoping someone snatches him up and gives him a great home. I have a soft spot for older warhorses.
