Charlestown Training Track Fire

Yes its true with a heavy heart and tears :cry:for all.

At some time early this AM the “Private” Side or Hacienda Training barns , where the pool, Vets office and Tack Shop are located across the street from Main Track
Had a fire 2 wooden barns are completely destroyed and every horse perished.

The 3rd barn was of cinder block construction and all of those horses were turned loose onto the training track before it was consumed.

This is not hearsay but from a eye witness trainer who lives 2 blocks from the race track.
Who asked me to post before the rumor mills started.

There are no verifiable reports or rumers of any human lives lost and until the Arson investigators have gone thru no speculation on what started the fires.

I will let anyone who PM’s me know if I get any credible updates.

My heart, prayers and tears for everyone who lost a horse:sadsmile::sadsmile::cry::cry:
