Trying to identify a 17 hand bay TB (probably) purchased from auction by Second Chance Rescue. Plenty of pictures, and she is offering a free Starbucks card to anyone who knows.
creepy⊠he head shot looks just like an OTTB I adopted last year!
My guy is only 6 and not from that area though.
Wow, that horse is lucky to have found them! What a handsome old man, I hope previous owners can be located and are relieved to have found him so he can have the retirement he deserves.
Ooooooooooooo⊠I hope they find out who let the poor soul end up in an auction!
I hope the cute little white mule found a home.
Fugly found and outed the owner
Check out todayâs edition.
A sickening âstartâ to a sad story - what a BCH!!!
May she suffer the COTH Explosive Diarrhea curse while sitting in the front seat of her husbandâs car on the way to a car show.
What a bitch.
I am glad Fugly pulled thru. I figured once the word was out they were looking for the former owner, somebody would know. The horse world is just too small.
For the record I hate - and hate is not strong enough a word - âFuglyâ i think the blogâs owner is reprehensible. But this story needed to be told. Poor horse - certainly deserved better than what he got from his previous owner. Glad he found his way to safe haven - so many do not.
Way to go Fugly! Now if only that wench who dumped him would get what she deserves. Thats truly horrible.
I think one of these days, Fugly is going to get sued. People donât like that horses get sent to auction, but itâs not illegal. She keeps pushing her luck with posting photos, websites, and personal attacks on peopleâs appearance and lifestyle (and she obviously has an issue with âbottle blondes.â)
I know it makes her feel all warm and fuzzy, but what did it accomplish for the horse? Heâs already safe.
Oh, yikes (regarding the facts of the story - pretty pathetic on the part of the person who dumped this horse). I didnât realize fugly was back. Well, hopefully itâll make some people think twice before selling their lame/retired horses at an auction instead of doing right by them and euthanizing them. That said, that was a heck of a lot of personal information posted about the former owner.
Any news on the little white donkey?

An incentive to others to not do the same. Would YOU dump a horse at auction if you knew someone was ready to out you in the most crude, humiliating fashion as soon as they found out? Probably not. The love of the animals wonât stop these scumbags, but the fear of repercussions might.
As far as her posting personal information⊠itâs not like sheâs rummaging through someoneâs garbage to find dirt on them. Sheâs just posting lots of publicly available information in one location. Sheâs like a database on appalling excuses for human beings.
I think Fugly is great, she is on coth btw.
Sheâs kind of like an animal investigative reporter.
Truth is a defense. And doesnât she still work for a lawyer? Iâd send a contribution to defend her if she got sued. (And lend any expertise I could.)
Thatâs a lovely old boy, and I am glad he is alive.
Good work Fugly!
Itâs a blog, and I guess she writes what she thinks.
The only thing I can think of in her (Hercâs ex-owner) defense is that possibly the horse was rehomed via CL and the rehomer was one of those lying flippers.
If not, then shame is a strong social tool.
Wow, I really donât understand why people donât just put them down.
No, mostly because that kind of auction ends up costing more than any sale price you get. If there were a knacker whoâd come buy it for dog meat, though, Iâd do that, which Fugly (whoâs needle-happy and seems to think horses are house pets) would probably also hate, unless I had land for burial or a compost trench and access to a gun or humane killer.
And I would cheerfully lawyer up if she wanted to call me on it, if sheâd like to point out whatâs illegal about any of it. Chemical euthanasiaâs wasteful on large animals, and renderingâs ridiculously expensive in many places, but the anti-slaughter crowdâs made sure thereâs no closer options down here. Plus, all the personal attacks (especially sniping about looks) doesnât make you look sound righteous, it makes you sound like a jealous old woman with a houseful of cats whoâs envious of the pretty people.
Warm and Fuzzy

I doubt that outing someone like that makes anyone feel warm and fuzzy . Trembling, nauseous fury would probably be more accurate .
Really, can you even imagine that little, self centered, walking piece of garbage as a MOTHER ??
It sounds like his feet issues are actually improving already with some attention. Thatâs great news! Depending on how manageable the issues are, he might make some little kid a great beginner ride, eh? Sounds like he has lots of training, lots of miles, and has a good shot here!
