Child in my pasture- WWYD?

Well, then its a long drive from the deep south so we will stop for sweat tea with msj and then work our way over towards the hottie farriers and cheap hay.

Sort of like Sherman on his march but without all the burning and stuff.

Will we end up in Vancouver? I hear its pretty there. I want that city as my palace:)

Do you think “invasion of major North American Nation” will look good on my resume’? What skills would that show? Multi tasking? Team work?

Blame Canada!

Sheila: Times have changed
Our kids are getting worse
They won’t obey their parents
They just want to fart and curse!
Sharon: Should we blame the government?
Liane: Or blame society?
Dads: Or should we blame the images on TV?
Sheila: No, blame Canada
Everyone: Blame Canada
Sheila: With all their beady little eyes
And flapping heads so full of lies
Everyone: Blame Canada
Blame Canada
Sheila: We need to form a full assault
Everyone: It’s Canada’s fault!
Sharon: Don’t blame me
For my son Stan
He saw the damn cartoon
And now he’s off to join the Klan!
Liane: And my boy Eric once
Had my picture on his shelf
But now when I see him he tells me to fruitbat myself!
Sheila: Well, blame Canada
Everyone: Blame Canada
Sheila: It seems that everything’s gone wrong
Since Canada came along
Everyone: Blame Canada
Blame Canada
Copy Guy: They’re not even a real country anyway
Ms. McCormick: My son could’ve been a doctor or a lawyer rich and true,
Instead he burned up like a piggy on the barbecue
Everyone: Should we blame the matches?
Should we blame the fire?
Or the doctors who allowed him to expire?
Sheila: heck no!
Everyone: Blame Canada
Blame Canada
Sheila: With all their hockey hullabaloo
Liane: And that bleep Anne Murray too
Everyone: Blame Canada
Shame on Canada
For…
The smut we must stop
The trash we must bash
The Laughter and fun
Must all be undone
We must blame them and cause a fuss
Before somebody thinks of blaming uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuus!!!

Yes yes, Many may thing I would decide to invade Canada along withteh grit squad becuase of funny cartoon songs. Nonting couldbe farther from the truth.

Sorry if this has already made it in here somewhere (I’ve been trying to cut back on my COTH/day just a little).

We don’t need to spend too much time on the plan, the U.S. government has a 94-page official plan to invade Canada already drafted up (our tax dollars at work. It is called War Plan Red. You can google “Plan to invade Canada”, or for a starting point try this.

…Plan extra time at the airport from now on --we are probably all on the TSA watch list now

This reminds me of the time I went to Florida in December, flew home for Christmas, and flew back to Florida with an extra checked bag of horse equipment/odds and ends I needed from home.

When I opened the bag of equipment in Florida, it had one of those slips in it that said it had been opened and inspected by the TSA. I just pictured the sniffer dogs reacting to the smell of the bag- “I don’t know what’s in there, but I’ve never smelled anything like THAT before!”

Kookicat, hope all’s quiet on the English front.

Regarding EponaRoan’s post:

BLAME CANADA!!!

What a great South Park episode. They don’t have horses there, you know, just meese. So the cartoon does, in fact, depict reality.

So if any of y’all are bored with this thread or the Crazy Crayola Trainer thread, there’s one over on Hunter/Jumper that’s getting quite … dramatic. It’s titled Missing Horse Alert and the link is:

Where do you people find this stuff - the blame Canada one is priceless.

But STOP IT - you are really starting to scare me with the take over Canada brief, seriously. I don’t think they plan to bring wine.

But the rest of you, not in uniform, do come, bring your vacation dollars and enjoy our country. It’s not all snow and ice.

Just a quick update. Drunken Mother and the Child are laying low for now. I think one of the sisters has had a word with both of them. Grandad is very ill still (reading between the lines, I don’t think he has long left. ) Gran also looks ill. I think the stress is getting to her. :frowning:

Yeah, KookiCat is ok!!!
Good.
Hope the horses are well and frisky.
Well I hate to say this, but maybe Grandma will move back to the city with one of the other daughters if Grandpa doesn’t make it. I hope he does get ok, but if not, maybe all will move and you can rest and ride horses, and we won’t have to invade England. There’s a bunch of folks from South Carolina who want to invade Canada now. Didn’t work in the late 1700s early 1800s, and won’t work now.
Thanks KookiCat. Lay low and hope all will quiet down. Stay out of the pub though, and other locations where the mum might be hanging out.

Nothing to add at this point. Just bumping it up to the top until we hear Kookie and her lot are safe which I hope is soon.

Another bump to keep this on the first page.

Also, what is the status of the Southern gals with the invasion of Canada? Do I need to make up extra beds tonight for y’all and throw a roast in the oven?

Thanks for the Northern Hospitality. I’m defecting to wherever it is cooler than Georgia.
I’ll bring shrimp as I try not to eat cows. The others are carnivores.

Shrimp is GOOD! We are definitely cooler and probably a LOT wetter than GA.

I’ll make an extra large tossed salad as well and I’ll check with the farmer as he brought me some new corn the other day as well as a lovely sunflower. If he were 20 yrs older I’d make a play for him! He’s one of the hardest workers I know.

I was really planning on starting the invasion today, but then it rianed last night and well. . .you know how plans get postponed.

I had good plans for rounding up the troops again this morning, but we have blue laws down here and no invasions on Sunday before 1pm.

Just when I really had it all togther and it was after god went home and everything was ready, I found another horse BB where he who shall not be named started posting the same day he was banned from this very thread.

It took 2 hours to read all his posts becuase for some reason he is over there in his familair user name (but spelled right:)) but also as an alter and he is fighting with himself! He is way meaner to himself then any of us were to him! And way crazier then we ever imagined too:eek: Which might explain why he identified with and defended the crazy kid in KCs pasture.

Thenit was 4pm and too late to start an invasion. Maybe Wed? Does that sound like a good day to invade Canada? The west side of Canda of course. . where all the hot farriers, oil and hay is:)

I’m feeling left out here in Ontario :frowning:

We have lots of hot male polo players around here you know!!

:lol::lol::lol::lol: Sounds like a plan to me! I have a dentist appointment at 10 on Wednesday, then I’m going schooling at 11:30. Should be off my horse and showered by 2:00. Shall I expect you to pick me up or shall I meet you somewhere? Oh, and I’ll bring Canadian bacon hors d’s to go with the shrimp… We can pick up beer up there as it’s ever so much better than the swill they brew down here… Can’t beat Canadian water to brew good beer, I always say, eh?

Don’t feel left out; they just haven’t made plans to invade Ontario yet. When they do, watch out!

The Michigan regiment (led by Tiempo on her trusty hinny Heart!) will be there with what’s left of our citizenry and all the extra SUV’s nobody’s buying in this economy. Don’t forget your human and equine passports at the border, and remember, just because the border patrol goes through your entire trailer tack room in search of drugs, leaving tack and equipment dumped everywhere, don’t feel like you’re not welcome in Canada. They just want to be sure you’re not transporting the mayor of Detroit out of the country in your clean saddle pad pile…

But do you have hay??? Even lukewarm polo players don’t sound bad…

I honestly don’t see any reason to invade just the western part of Canada as long as the eastern part has hay. That’s all I’m really after (hay)although those polo players sound OK to me. (hm where’s the emoticon with the evil smirk?)

I we are having bacon and shrimp on one inavion I will happily hire a horse sitter for as long as it takes to invade every part of Canada!

We are actually overun with hot polo players in the Carolinas, but maybe we can trade them for something more useful like the hot farriers and nice people who can cook bears?

Is Wed good for all the other GRITS? Imean ssuming there is no rain or really hot weather?

There isn’t a Gamecocks pre-season thing going in then, is there? IPTAY no invasion:)

And that, my friends, is why the USA is not doing well inavading muslim countries. NO DAMN BACON! I mean, why bother?
