:sigh::sigh::sigh:. I guess one of the the GRITS will have to actually look a at a map of Canada and find out where all these places are so we can plan accordingly.
I know its up hill all the way to Canada, but then if we turn left we can invade on the flat line all the way to the left coast and be wined and dined by Foxtrot. Then is downhill all the way home before that nasty cold white stuff falls.
That should take, what, a week? 2?
Once we have Canada and all their hot farriers and hot polo players and bacon we will have a much stronger army to use for our invasion of England and the asskicking of KC’s psycho neighbors.

Now when we do the Canada invasion, we’ll be eating Moose and Goose as well as venison and along with the shrimp and bacon.

Oh, were we going to do it today? I didn’t sleep very well last night and took a long nap. And now I’m broiling a nice ribeye, so tonight isn’t good. I get my hair trimmed on Tuesday. So, Wednesday will work better for me too.
I can make a Margarita Fruit Salad if you like. It’s fruity and margaritay. It does have to set overnight in the fridge though for the full flavor to come out.

o.k. - here’s the deal troops. Get yourselves to msj’s place - I think Tiempo can help you as she’s transporting the Hinny some ways along the route. msj will have the roast on and be waiting with her hospitality. Then you cross over - gather with the gals from back east and partake of their hospitality, meet polo players, etc. Then you jump on the train that goes straight across Canada past places like Moose Jaw and Medicine Hat to the west. Hot cowboys, oil, hay, Timmies, etc. before making it to the coast. Visit Capone and a couple of his offspring.

We’re gonna get thunked … but … no, it’s actually a fruit salad. And horse related! I made it for my Kentucky Derby Party this year! :lol:
Margarita Fruit Salad
3 tbsp tequila
3 tbsp grand marnier
3 tbsp orange marmalade
juice of one lime
4 cups fresh diced strawberries
4 segmented oranges
1 small peeled and diced honeydew melon
1 small peeled and diced cantaloupe
small container blackberries and/or blueberries
mix together tequila, grand marnier, marmalade and lime juice. Add fruit. Stir to combine and refrigerate several hours or overnight to allow the flavors to blend. serves six.
Now, I used Triple Sec instead of Grand Marnier since it’s a helluva lot cheaper. And you don’t have to stick to what they say as far as fruits - just grab one of those pre-cut fresh fruit things in the produce department and some strawberries and blueberries or whatever’s on sale/you like that week that’s fruity and use it. Easy to make, cool to eat.
Now, we can’t invade until at least next Sunday
Bummer. I’m on vacation this week so I’m not sure I can make it next Sunday. (See Canada - you have nothing to fear since we can’t get our dates co-ordinated. :lol::lol::lol: )
