Chloe FILLY 4/10 - on CAM 1 tonight, Dove Filly! 4/5 - Dove/Ruby CAM 2 tonight (4/11

Dove just looks on screen like the kind who will lie down and slide it out, no fuss, no drama, total performance time very short.

Chloe, now . . .

I hope you are right, but, remember, she is a maiden. At this point Anissa needs a textbook delivery, a beautiful filly, and some sleep.

I think I agree with Dressagetraks. Dove will be pretty matter of fact about it. I suspect Chloe will make it a big production.

No science behind it but here’s my SWAG. Dove between 3-4am Saturday, Chloe waits til Sunday evening, 11:45.

Well, it is after midnight, and I am staring yet again at two big brown butts. As I have to get up early, I am off to bed, but hoping to wake up to four butts in the morning! If not, I have a feeling it will be soon. Westernrider, I like your prediction.

Night everyone,

Caitlin

I think that Dove will go tonight in the next 2 hours… I also think that she will just lay down and push the baby out with no fuss or fan fare (she is moving more tonight than she has been !).

chloe I think will be either at like 5 in the am tonight, or late Sat/Sun night… and she is a drama queen.

Just my opinion.

Anissa, when do you plan to call the vet. When Dove goes down? Are you positive there aren’t 2 little ones in there?

Well I’d sure say your opinion matters, you know these mares better than all of us put together!

I am watching Tess stand around. Well she did just fall sound asleep standing up, and almost fell down… but now she’s standing around. She has rubbed her butt a few times, peed a few times, just did an impressive volume of mare poop.

Meanwhile, the other mare, not waxed, not due, is flat out neck outstretched and grunting rythmically. If she does not stop pretty quick I am going out there and have a talk with her.

Is Dove asleep? I just came back…

Now’s not the time to take a nap Dove!

PUSH IT OUT!!!

Guess so… How peaceful  it’s not just a frozen camera

Dove’s not going to have that baby til we/ve all gotten disgusted and gone to bed!

The reason I picked 12:32 (central) for Dove is that I am working, and my work shift tonight ends at 12:30 (central). So that’s when I’d be shutting down the computer and heading for bed.

Which may not be for a LONG time. The people who have the apartment under me are having a most wonderfully loud party tonight. :dead: Add in my insomia problems and it looks like I’ll be up for while.

Oh the joys of living in a college apartment complex

Call the cops TBlitz  I bet there are at least some underagers? Esp at a college campus… That will quiet things down… Not to mention I can almost guarantee you there is a noise ordinance time! So that should shut it down too~

I am done for the night… One less person to keep these girls legs crossed… Nighty, night.

Haven’t heard from Anissa for a while, wonder if she’s taking a nap?

I’m always the last to know - how do you get both cameras up at the same time? All this time I’ve been switching, duh. Ah, forget it, I’ll never understand.

(shamefaced) I did fall asleep… sigh…

Ok foxtrot - you can put your cursor on the edge of the screen for the cam (along the box whatever) and make the picutre smaller - you are just getting rid of all the extra white/lettering etc. Then you can pull up anohter screen (other cam) do the same thing… I have two smaller boxes on the right hand side of my computer screen, and have downsized the bigger box which is my COTH/email etc… did that make any sense whatsoever???

As for the twin thing… At 62 days we saw evidence of one foal (looked to be a colt) that was obviously failing - very weak heartbeat) and one foal (looked to be a filly) thriving. On day 90 we only saw evidence of one foal - and we had the US in her for over 20 mins looking. Vet could only FEEL one foal also. She doesn’t look big enough to have more than one foal… I and my vet are 95% positive that there is only one foal (I will never do this again - it is way too nerve wracking btw). I told my vet that I would call him when I saw her go down and I knew that she was in labor. If Chloe goes and I’m in the stallwith her and Dove goes I may not be able to call him but was going to try…

You know, it absolutly impresses me how Chloe can itch the top of her tail! LOL

I am here for my middle of the night, letting the dogs out, fat mare check.
I can’t believe Chloe hasn’t gone. Why is she so itchy?

Why hasn’t either one of them gone??? I cannot for the life of me get Chole’s cam clear again… but it is pouring down rain right now.

What is really weird is all of a sudden I am WIDE AWAKE… go figure.
