I’m back up, thanks for keeping an eye on the girls! although Chloe’s cam got knocked by the cat so messed up!!
While it isn’t storming at the moment I am going to go out and do evening chores. I’ll retest to see where we stand right now… sigh…
I’m glad you got some rest. It will be interesting to see if Dove has progressed. You certainly can’t tell by watching her that anything is happening!
Btw - Chloe’s cam is much much better. Dove’s is a bit fuzzy
that is as good as i can get either cam… y’all will just have to bear with me! sorry!! 
Well Dove’s cam looks much better now too so whatever you’re doing is working! 
I don’t believe it! Chloe’s stall looks tidier than Doves. Oh, I see why. Anissa must have just been there.
:lol: Yep… I cleaned her stall then did Dove’s. But actually both stalls were pretty good this afternoon all things considered.
OK, Chloe’s milk: ca is 250, ph is still hovering around 7.2
Dove’s milk: ca is over 1000 and ph is under 6.8… other stuff with her she had big globs of pure white wax on both teats tonight, and her milk wouldn’t seperate from the distilled water (hmmm… think she might go tonight??? LOL)
So I’m off to heat up a frozen dinner and possibly hop in the shower to wake myself up then will be on serious mare watch tonight! 
FWIW, when a maiden has had milk to give me the milk tests have worked beautifully. So it sounds like Dove may be tonight. Chloe? Who can say. :winkgrin:

I certainly hope so Mary Lou!!! She doesn’t ACT like she is going to go, but frankly with her I wouldn’t expect her to get dramatic about foaling. I truely think she will say “hmmmm, i’m a little crampy, I need to lie down.” Then her water will break and she will go “Oh, maybe I should push.” and the baby will slide out LOL.
Chloe… who knows is right! Little brat! LOL. I am hoping that she will see Dove go and get upset/mad that she isn’t getting the attention etc and will deceide to go ahead on!

Anissa, you are describing exactly the test results I had yesterday for Tess (last test 10 am). She did not get the pure white wax til later, probably 9:30 pm. I think you are on for tonite. Good luck girl!

Maybe shower now, so you’ll feel fresh… and keep your cell phone outside the shower and whoever is watching can give you a ring if you need to dash for the barn?

I took a bath last night, I knew it was pointless, but I just needed 15 min in a bubble bath. Just set an alarm, so you know when to get out…
Well I’ll definitely be online for the next 45 minutes (library closes at 9:00 - it rules my life :no:) I can check her every ten minutes and WILL give you a call if she is at all suspect. I’m sure a hundred other people will too :winkgrin:
