I’m not as worried about wax - although it would be nice to see WHITE milk, but I love it that it was sweet tonight. She is ready - just is the baby??

I know, I just have to laugh at mom… she so badly wants it to be a girl (since this is her foal… and her other foal she can’t keep, if this is a filly she can have an excuse not to sell it!) I about died when she bought this halter - wait till you see it!! :eek:
Well, I’ve almost thought a couple of times that she was going to go down… I think maybe tonight.
Ok she looks pretty cranky. The marestare looks pretty good to me, maybe she knows we are watching and is waiting for all of us to go away.

Btw… mom has named little Patty (Val’s baby)… her show name will be Pearl Jam (LOL). And she is sooooo dang cute. Even if she did nail me in the knee the other day (her mom nailed me in the left knee when we filllped her after she was cast so I have matched set now from both of them LOL). Val has been GREAT and Preston (daddy) is fascinated. Both of his fillies are up near him in the paddock. I’m going to combine the fillies/mares this weekend I think (they are next to each other now).

That is what Val did to me!!! I cant’ STAND it when they do that. If I knew that she was going to go in the wee hours I’d sleep now and wake up at midnight.
Mom also dreamt Sun night that she would have the baby on the 26th (so she has to have it by midnight to keep mom happy LOL).

Nope she’s up now, but i have noticed lots of tail lifting and swishing and such, and I swear I can actually see the baby moving. The poor baby is going to stick out a white flag if she holds onto it too much longer.

Stuff like that just bugs me (I have just enough OCD to not like fuzzy screens and so forth).
She is currently up and has her head down looking for food (which per her is very nicely scattered all over her stall LOL).
She keeps walkign around and was biting her sides alot, but she has calmed down with that somewhat and is more shifting herself around now.

But she is a lot more restless and lots more looking at her flanks and tail lifting…i bet it’s tonight…
ok s he’s down this might be it, but she wasn’t considerate enough to lay down so we can see the right end to watch whats going on…
And she is starting the biting the sides and tail wringing again… she has got to be in early labor for all this craziness I think… now whether she goes tonight or not…that is another story LOL
