The baby seems to have similar markings to its sire, star with minimal white on the legs. It really is adorable
No time to read everything… have called the vet and gave him the option to come, left message… filly, big star, one hind sock, very active little girl! Mom is doing GREAT!! Will post photos in a bit goig back out to help little girl get her sea legs lol.
Now comes figuring out how to work the stilts! The baby is really adorable.
I signed on just in time to see Dove go down. Congrats on the filly. Dove looks like she’s gonna be a great mom. 1 down, 1 to go.

It’s a filly!! Anissa is tied up with the baby at the moment, but she confirmed what we believed from the last ultrasound, Dove was carrying a filly… no word yet if there is any remnant of the twin. Baby is by Tanzeln and looks gorgeous to this grandma!
Awwww. Saw the whole thing, as much as we could see, anyway, and work could just wait for a few minutes. Congrats, Anissa and Dove!

She is an independent little thing! Dove is being wonderful, but she can’t figure out her loooong legs… and she hasn’t had a proper nurse yet (just a couple of swallows before she lost her balance) … she also managed to kick me a couple of times because I wouldn’t let her go LOL.
OK, who came up with Dorothy’s Red Slippers? We are going to use that but change Red to Ruby (we like to try and keep gem stones in the names) and call her ruby. GREAT SUGGESTION.
Had to come in and get a coke real quick… glad I didnt’ take a shower!
The baby is adorable abd never say die is her attitude. Dove is a great Mom, but I don’t think she’s quite figured out the nursing thing yet either. Well worth the wait.
Oh, well worth the wait. What a perfectly beautiful little girl. You must be thrilled. I am thrilled for you. And what a super mom Dove is being. So much nuzzling and licking. So sweet.
HEHEHE…She does look like she has some tude! I say future eventer:lol: She’s finally up on her own…what a stong little girl!
Ok, I guess I’m going to have to go out and NURSE the mare… sigh… as soon as Dove gets up I’ll go do that. My vet won’t be here for a while, unless we tell him to come tomorrow… mom and baby are doing fine, there really was only one baby (thank goodness)!!! BTW - she squeaks instead of nickers… OK, mom is up, time to nurse.
