I know… I wanted all fillies except for the last one - that one was fetal sexed as a boy and I want a boy o/o Cory for a full brother to Emma.
Little Ruby managed to find the milk bar at least once, and I fed her some… she is a determined little girl. Placenta passed. I called the vet and told him not to worry about it (he is on an emerg call) and he’ll be here in the am to check IgG and mom etc. Everything on this end looks great…
Chloe watched everything but I don’t think she is going to go tonight. She does have a case of the burps though LOL.
I will go out and take some more photos of her, get mom’s tail wrap off, then when she pees/poops I’m for bed!
She’s precious!!! Way to go Dove! Of course I was watching her until 6:55 and then I left to go to the movies…came home and found out I missed it by 5 minutes!!! UGH! COngrats Anissa! Have special interest in that one, thinking of Tanzeln for our next try!

OK, here are pictures of the little girl… she is a mess. I’m going to go out one more time check on mom and baby, then take a shower and get some sleep. I’ll get up in a few hours to check her and Chloe again… gut don’t think Chloe will go tonight. Dove does NOT like her baby to lay down and will nip at her feet and so forth when she does. The baby ahs found the milk bar but is not consistent with it yet… she is just as apt to nurse on mom’s legs, she really likes the “pocket” between the udder and the leg… sigh. She is so dang cute though!!!

OK, bed check is fine… mom and baby are lying down with each other. Dove is starting to settle into that her baby WILL occassionally lay down to rest. I’m off to bed for a while… SHOULD Chloe do something will one of the night crew let me know??? I plan on getting up in a couple of hours to check on Dove/Ruby, but just in case… TIA!
We had my Mom’s 70TH birthday tonight and all 50+ guests watched the cam from appetizers to birthday cake (video was rolling at the bar!!!). What a doll and how wonderful she is such a cutie!

Congrats, Anissa! I saw Dove go down the first time last night but then had to go eat dinner (hubby had made a yummy Moroccan tangine). When I got back to the computer, Dove was down on her side out of camera range and all I could see was her feet, but I knew something serious was happening!
The filly is adorable and Dove seems totally enchanted with her new little daughter!
