It’s so great to hear of a big, healthy foal being born.
Chloe definitely got the attention she needed. Getting us all interested and thinking she would have a baby, then waiting…building up the suspense…until…TONIGHT! A beautiful little filly whose birth was able to be viewed by many.

Hey, yes it is a filly, and she is HUGE. She has already nursed once, but needs more. She is sure a fighter! I’m going back out to clean out the wet hay and check on her again… placenta is passed.
I can’t wait until my mares foal, and they aren’t even being bred for a few more weeks!!!

I’ll post some photos when they are done up loading, but she IS gigantic! and HEAVY! LOL. She is going to be pretty spectacular when she is filled out… who am I kidding she IS filled out LOL. Chloe did really really well. Baby has had a good nurse and can get up and down on her own… as soon as she poops I can rest. Chloe is a GREAT mom - two really loving mommies in a row!
And spacely… I have one left to go - if it is a colt it WILL be EXACTLY what I ordered (Joe has already called to complain LOL). Yes, I want the last one to be a colt - and it was fetal sexed as one, so we’ll see.
Trakmom - This big girl may need to go out with the Preston babies since they are so much bigger, Ruby is still petite! Good golly this gal is huge.
OK, photos of the big girl. Mom is appearing to be a little crampy so may need to give her some banamine… but who can blame her with that big filly!!!

Senorita V is going to be your eventing mare. She sure seems to have a lot of energy for a newborn.

I missed the big moment… the mare that foaled last night was pretty uncomfortable so we had to do the banamine/rompum thing. She seems okay now, but I am now on poop watch before I feel like I can sleep.
