Second Fair Hill! They were so helpful for MIPS helmets and I ended up a CO Kylo from them.
I’ll add De La Coeur bonnets. They have been fabulous about customizing bonnets, replacing worn out ears and swapping regular ears for noise cancelling.
Their bonnets last forever and the cost per wear is quite reasonable when you do the math.
OK so I am now seriously considering the monthly subscription … but that feels like a lot of cookies and I’ve never even heard of this company before this moment. Should I just go for it?? I live in SK so would have to wait like 3 weeks to get the first month’s subscription cookies!
ETA: I decided to just order a single 30-pack and will share with all my friends at the barn… then decide whether to do a monthly order. Truth be told I’d probably only give my horse a couple a month (and I’m sure the dogs would get a couple too), and then share with barn friends anyway so I probably don’t need to stockpile cookies EVERY month with a subscription
Two Horse Tack is excellent! My cousin wanted to buy my paint a new halter for Xmas. He has a bone spur on his poll, and cysts on his face, so we wanted to get him something very light, but good looking. I ordered a him cob sized beta biothane with breakaway leather.
He is hony sized and sometimes wears horse, sometimes cob, but a combo of the two usually fits best. When it came it was wasn’t a great fit, so I contacted them. She talked with me about how it should be adjusted, sent a label for me to send it back, made the adjustments and sent it returned it to me. Fits great! Won’t hesitate to buy from them again.
I will admit I get the monthly subscription box. My guy will jump a ring of fire for one of those cookies.
I also recommend Chewy. They are an awesome company. Also, Riding Warehouse.
Equestrian Stockholm probably has my favorite customer service, though. First, I’ve had some issues with sizing, and they respond to their emails really, really fast. They also frequently send me coupons, which is how I have 12 saddle pads, one pair of breeches, four pairs of brushing boots, a bunch of hair ties (I love their hair ties and I want them to bring them back!), and other random things from them. I’ve probably bought $2,000 worth of things from ES. They respond quickly to their emails, and they are always super kind and easy to work with. They also have a flat $8 shipping to the US. And, as I mentioned, they frequently send me coupons, and they have also sent me free things.
PS of Sweden also has great customer service. I have a really old bridle of theirs, and they tried to help me with a noseband to fit it. Again, quick to respond to emails, and the person who responded was really friendly.
Two Horse Tack is also great, and the quality of their tack for the price is top notch.
I stopped ordering through Stateline because I’ve had issues with my passcode (each time I sign in I have to change it, and they will just automatically lock it so I have to contact the company) and the shipping is so slow. I don’t mind slow shipping, but when it’s two months (and then some) and I still haven’t received an order, then I worry. I now use Tack of the Day or Chewy. I’ve also not had issues with Chick’s and I would recommend then since you can get really cheap items.
ETA: the ES coupons work on sale items so I’ve purchased boots and saddle pads for $15 (boots) and $30 (pads). They are really a great company for returning customers.
I highly recommend Solo Equine. I have three of their bridles now: two snaffles and a double. Stephen let me customize the last one at no extra charge, changing out the browband and noseband from how it usually comes. The leather is beautiful, the size charts are accurate, and Stephen responds very quickly to messages, even on Easter!
I take back my compliment to SmartPak. They were unable to fulfill my custom order, and I did not get a cancellation email. The refund was processed the next day, but I was never contacted. So my niece will not get her birthday present (she’s 9) remotely on time. I mean, I expected this to be 2 days late, but now I’m back to shopping.
I looked at that product but the price was a bit
I’ve been ordering from OM Naturals for a couple years now, and I’m really happy with them. Price is less than half, per kg, human grade, and batch tested for heavy metals etc.
Another +1 for Black Diamond Designs/Amy Jo Magee - I haven’t even gotten my order yet and I have to sing her praises. I mentioned I couldn’t decide between two of her bridle designs for my horse and asked her opinion; she offered to send me both for the price of one with a return label to send back whichever one I ended up not liking. Very excited to get my hands on them so I can give an even better recommendation.
Shout out to Chewy for great customer service PLUS their

Wow! Looking forward to bringing them to the barn!
Hooray! Let me know if yours love them as much as mine does.
Ooooo! I heard about this from a friend – does it automatically apply or do you have to put a discount code in or what?
Once your $100. Purchase ships, you get an email notifying you of the gift card which goes on your acct. I usually call in my next order and ask that the gift card
Be applied. Not sure how it’s done online.
Mad Barn also has fantastic customer service. So far I’m really liking their supplements.
Right now they have a special on
That if you take a 10 minute survey on horse pasture mgt.,
You get a $20. Gift certificate towards their product purchase.
Ahhh. So it actually isn’t applied to the order - only applied to your next order? Very clever.
