I;m in the same boat as you. I really miss my Dublin Mid-Rivers. I’m going to go Dubarry, heading to try them on at Equine Affaire in the beginning of November.
Yeesh I just can’t drop that much on chore boots.
I ordered some waterproof “Western” boots. They will look like normal boots with jeans over them, just a western decor on the shaft that would be visible when I tuck in my pants; I don’t really care about that because my summer daily chore boots are Justins. These are the Twisted X brand, which my xDH loved as a calf roper, said they feel like tennis shoes with extra support. They get delivered tomorrow so I’ll find out then!
Every size option I click on for both boots is sold by Pertemba USA. Ships from UK but falls under Amazon’s return/replacement policy.
This is under the company Q&A section:
Q: Can I return my order if I’m not happy with them for any reason?
A: We are confident that you will be happy with your purchases. However in the event that you wish to exchange or return an item, please visit Amazon’s Online Return Center to request a return authorization from the seller within 30 days of receiving of your order.

Well… what the heck, I didn’t see that!! Can you send me a screen shot over FB messenger?? I mean I’m kinda committed the purchase I made, but in case they don’t fit. Or they pull a Bit of Britain and poof without ever responding to me about why.
How do you feel about something you slip on over your shoes? Consider New England Overshoes.
I had a pair that went all over the world with me. I have planted a ton of trees wearing them all in beautiful Puget Sound winter weather.
My first pair was with me a solid 15 years but didn’t see activity every day, more on weekends for Land trust work and birdwatching
