Has anyone tried the CHEATA Trotting compression bra/tank?
Yes! Only compression bra I can wear that doesn’t give me a raging headache or make my back hurt. Good support, too.
Right now the fabric on the tank rides up so the extra $ for that isnt worth ut.
How does it compare to the enell bra for support? I find the enell the only bra that I’ve tried that keeps the bounce down without hurting my shoulders. Unfortunately the fabric it is made of does not wick sweat so it is otherwise not a great sports bra.
Anyone extremely endowed have suggestions? I see some reviews for the D and DD crowd… I’m a DDD or F though and haven’t found a good solution yet. Trotting can get painful without 3 bras.

Have you considered breast reduction surgery?

Have you considered breast reduction surgery?[/QUOTE]
No. There’s extreme risks, costs, and recovery involved and they’re not causing any issue whatsoever other than if I do jumping jacks or trot or go for a few mile run without support. Surgery that involves cutting off and reattaching nipples would be a last resort. I’d need a much much better reason than wanting to trot without multiple bras to consider that.

I am a G-H.
The Enell works, and I have a “Shock Absorber” bra that works (model 109 I think).
Panache makes a sports bra that is pretty good, but not as good as the Enell for bounce. The panache has some advantages over the Enell tho, including overall comfort, fun colors, and a wicking sports material. It has rings in the straps that hook together to make it a racerback, which really ups the support factor, and you can just pop them open when you are done riding for comfort.

I got my first one at an Intimacy bra shop where they fitted me, and now order them from Amazon. They do not hold up as well as an Enell, but at least at the end of the day, I do not feel like I am being cut in half.
I’m usually an F or a G and I have some Anita sports bras that work really well and are pretty comfy. I also just found a New Balance bra that is sized as an E but is very roomy in the cup. It’s an odd shape - sort of a racer back but also has book and eye closure at the back, Velcro adjustable shoulder straps. Very comfy and supportive for the back
I’m a 32F, so S,M, L sizing off the rack doesn’t work for me. I’ve found great success with Moving Comfort sports bras, though you may have to try on a few to find fit/style that works best for you. The girls don’t move an inch and I don’t feel like a stuffed sausage by the end of the day.
This thread had good info about bras.
I’m a 32-34 G+ with broad shoulders and a tapered torso- think swimmer. Moving Comfort has been my go to for years because they work for that. Even at the largest cup size they do spilleth over but I can run and ride and nothing moves. HOWEVER… the band has to be so tight for that kind of support that it really bothers an old rib injury.
I have an enell and they just don’t work for me.
The Trotter looks intriguing, the idea of spreading the stress over more ribs is very appealing and the lack of cups means they can’t be laughably too small. And despite my size, I don’t need a ton of support, I often ride in a regular bra. I’m ordering one. Will report back!

A free nipple graft is super rare, and mine sure wasn’t done that way. I get that it’s a personal thing, so please don’t think I’m trying to argue with you. All I’m wanting to do is correct an idea that a reduction involves that, because it usually doesn’t.
On a side note, I’m 7 months post-reduction, and I was back up and active (just walking and that kind of thing) a week after (just in time for a second, unrelated surgery, lol). Between the two, I was back at work 2 weeks to the day from the reduction, and riding just under 6 weeks post reduction. I knew my back hurt, I just didn’t realize HOW BAD it hurt until the boobs were finally gone.
I also used the Shock absorber pre-reduction (J cup), and still love it now, after my reduction (DD cup).
ETA: Does this Cheata tank still give you a decent shape, or do you just turn into a sausage?
For those who have problems with the Enell not wicking, I finally tried putting a SmartWool liner bra underneath the Enell. I will know better how it works in the summer, but the liner has eliminated the clammy winter sweat problem for me. Much more comfortable. Even though I’m bigger than the SmartWool size L (I’m 34G), it’s super stretchy so everything fits. I would never, ever, wear it on its own, but as a liner it’s perfect. http://www.smartwool.com/shop/women-clothing-sportsbras/womens-phd-seamless-liner-bra-sw0so164?variationId=494

Thank you… I had seen things a looooong time ago that made it all look horrific. I still haven’t considered it for myself as otherwise they don’t bother me. I’m sure they’ve come a long way in recent years. I come from a family of reasonably endowed women, the next biggest is maybe a C, so they’ve all asked why not a reduction? It might be a consideration when I’m older, but only if it becomes something I consider necessary for daily comfort. Right now, I just buy the good brads. I also have broad shoulders and back so I guess I carry the girls a lot better than someone narrow might. I think I’d look strange with anything under a DD (which I managed to be at about 16 years old).
Hmmmm I’ve tried Enell and had mixed results depending on the length of time I’m in one. I’ve going to have to try the Anita and Moving Comfort.
Yeah that whole S,M,L really doesn’t work if you’re more than a D does it? lol Some men must be making the sizes, because no woman in the world would make a product for your boobs without consideration for cup size.
Calling AliCat!
TollerTwins, do you think the shorter version would roll at the bottom edge?
UlysMom, are the Moving Comfort bras you have seamless in the cup? I know AliCAt can explain why a seamed construction is better, but I prefer a smooth look.
CrotchetyDQ, did you measure as you expected in the Panache? (As in, is it worth trying from Amazon without being measured?
TIA

I’m well endowed (F-H cup) but also larger than many here - I take a 40"band. I am older and have arthritis in my shoulders. So - many of the bras such as the Shock Absorber aren’t large enough for me overall. And I have an Anita but it kills my shoulders because it behave more like a traditional bra. I do wear an Anita for an every day bra and it is quite easy on my shoulder.
The Enell so far is the only bra that fits, stops the bounce and doesn’t hurt my shoulders. On the downside, you do get the uni-boob look and while I find it really comfortable to ride in, the compression gets uncomfortable when not riding so not great for every day wear. And the material they make it from is not wicking.
Keysfins, I would order one band size smaller than you might normally do so, as the Panache bras do run a tad large plus work better for riding if they are a little small. I ultimately went up a cup size and down a band size, which works pretty well for me.
The one problem I have with them (as Amazon’s reviews will also reflect) is they are not quite padded enough under the arms and the underwire will poke through. I just shove it back in and sew in some heavy duty stitches to keep the wire in place. So far, that has been a pretty good fix. I have also thought about stitching some moleskin there too, but have not had to resort to those extremes yet.
