You look great together!
Congratulations!
I love Pearson! You have done a fantastic job with, you both just keep looking better and better. Well done
Congratulations! He’s a star!
Love love love Pearson! But what I love more is the look of sheer happiness and gratitude on your face while you sit on his back. Bravo !!!
Hot dog, if that isn’t the look of eagles I don’t know what is. That’s a framer!!
Love, love, love!!!
I could look at pictures of your handsome guy all day long!
He’s so handsome he could be nekkid and I’d still swoon.
You’re so kind! Thank you! I think he’s pretty cute!
It’s been a while since I’ve posted any updates on Pearson. We’ve struggled with a bout of sand cracks, a subtle “not quite right” in the left hind, and a torn rotator cuff on my part. After some new shoes, hind end injections, and healing on my part, we are back at it! Nearly got the hind lead figured out, and we’ve went up a hole or two over fences…this is from our last lesson this past Sunday. Getting our rhythm figured out, and working on straightness

A new show season has begun, and we’re second year green. Pearson came ready to work and he didn’t disappoint! Steady pace and rhythm, didn’t look at anything, and in between glasses stood and ate grass like he was in his paddock at home. Couldn’t be more proud of this boy. Highlight of the day was a first in our second over fences!Messenger_creation_44634EAC-4FB0-4E7A-826A-D743D7862075
Way to go, Pearson!
Half way through our local Bronze circuit and Pearson keeps amazing me and making me proud. Some stellar placings in a competitive green division, including a fifth in our last (and probably best!) round where we pulled a rail. Totally my fault, it was a fence we hadn’t jumped before and that had already claimed some stops and rails prior to our round, I chased him a bit and he flattened, just grazing the rail with his back end. He ran out of steam in the flat and broke stride, but was stellar otherwise. I am beyond proud of him, he tries so hard!

I bought my standardbred the year this post was created! I love seeing other stbs out doing under saddle work! Mine came with a pacey tranter and over the course of the 8 years owning him, I think he’s gotten much better and more balanced. We also jump and do some training level dressage. I love seeing your updates here! Keep up the good work and representing the breed at shows!
Such an honest horse. You must be proud. Well done both of you!
