They are all pretty upset that Kyra continues to speak her opinion on her own page.
Jane Hughes wants Buck to ban anyone who even so much as hits the “like” button on any comment that expresses disagreement with the way the page is ran. Not even commenting, just hit like on a comment. One such comment has 76 likes.

Well I defended the group but I don’t think anybody will give me credit for it 
…
But at least I got some of my issues addressed but sadly nobody wants to really discuss it 
. I wonder why…… in A.B s group there were at least always people agreeing
I wish that someone would post the “illegally downloaded” (not) video of him riding, on Facebook. Somewhere where he couldn’t delete it.

For anyone interested, you can download videos from YT with YouTube premium. For example, under Buck’s video, there is a download button where you can download the video to whatever computer or device you are using.

The nasty PMs he assailed me with in the past would not be considered to be simply interested in helping horses in any way. They were all about HIM and how I was too stupid to see that one person who submitted a picture was abusive (she was not) and thus he had every right to go BSC on her and ban her - which promoted a lot of dismayed and annoyed commentary from members. I told him he went overboard - and he completely lost his sh-stuff. Then another episode happened where he PMed me about some benign comment (truly - I had no idea what he was raging about at first) I had made and once again lectured me on how clueless and useless I was. I imagine he carries on little PM “wars” all the time. I will have to see if I still have those PMs saved. He threatened to ban me (yawn) and I just never peeked in there again. I should see if I am banned or not…
My experience with EAB behind the scenes was not about the equine and definitely about the ME-quine.
ETA: that video makes me cringe. The confused horse is a saint and hands can still be heavy and abrasive without a bit.
Buck’s profile pic is creepy… and the line about “If the human is willing to listen” is laughable when you consider how well he “listens” and “educates”. As that grey horse in the video demonstrates.
And hey - I was not banned!! Somehow my heinous thoughts and concerns slipped through the cracks. I could still post if I actually wanted to…

I’m not certain he gets it that FB is for old people now. It’s not the monolith it was when he was squatting in other’s basements and stealing their laptops.

Yes Allan Buck, we all know you are not a trainer. Neither are you a rider. You parrot language from books without ever having had any instruction in riding, so not an “educator” either.
Where the hell in Australia did Edward Allan Buck land? Is he trying to start an occult horse cult and be its leader?
I’m curious if the local, or the immigration authorities are interested in him or aware of his past record.
I hope any COTH members in his area of Australia will shine a light on his past, so fewer people will be taken in by this con.

No, I have no “personal agenda” with him. He is a fraud who has a criminal record and tries to take other peoples money under false pretenses.
I am not on Facebook. Apparently you are upset that you no longer have a connection with him on Facebook. Do you have a personal agenda for defending him? He’s a person who pretends to be qualified to instruct people in Dressage, and he is not.
Are you impressed by the video of him trying to ride that poor horse and calling it Dressage?
At the time of that video, he was trying to have people pay him to give “clinics and lessons” in Dressage in the U.S. and that’s OK with you?
You would pay him for instruction of any sort? Surely not, Manni. Have you been taken in by a fraud? A cult of personality? Because it can’t be his riding that impresses you, surely.

Well I believe that there are big problems in modern dressage…I believe the judging system is rotten and many top riders abuse their horses for profit and personal gain. I also believe that competitive dressage should be reduced to a level where it is not attractive anymore for money and power hungry people. If somebody needs Olympic medals they can become runners or whatever…
There are not many platforms anywhere where people dare to talk about it…. Yes whenever a new abuser is found they jump on him, but that’s about it… 2 months later it’s forgotten…
AB provdes a platform for people with critical ideas… there are 27.000 members. None of them wants to take lessons from him so it’s very irrelevant whether he is a good or bad rider… he does give people the chance to talk about problems…. That’s why I like that group….
And just saying Kyra Kyrklund is getting ready to block me because I dared to mention blue tongues and people beating up their horses…. I am beyond disappointed about her. she adapted to the new system perfectly….

If top sport can’t control itself then it needs to go before it causes the rest of us to go.
Right now, as it stands, it may look to the public that PETA is right and given the number of highly placed suspended riders, the equestrians are wrong and are abusers.
PETA says all riding is bad. So we non Olympians, non top sport, have no evidence that we are any different than the Cesar Parra’s of the horseworld. Hard to prove a negative and all.

Well the group is still existent and I see no reason to start to dislike the group. In a way it was my mistake because I knew the dynamics of the group and I could have simply kept my fingers quiet in that situation … But you know that’s not how I am…
