WTF =Where’s the Fruitbat

AI=Artificial Insemination

I saw this one the other day in a post and did not understand. Probably obvious but my brian is fried after my week.

B/T ??

You’re all welcome to continue adding things here and if we remember (:winkgrin:) we can update the FAQ list so it’s more comprehensive.

Thanks!

I always thought WTF was “What the fruitbat” as it relates to “What the F**k”

Me too.

BNR - Big Name Rider
ULR - Upper Level Rider

THANKS - I’m new here, too!

Thanks for doing this! I was afraid to ask what BNT was . . .I thought it was “Beginner/Novice Trainer”, and couldn’t figure out why Prelim/Advanced Trainers weren’t called “PAT”. . . :o

To me, WTF has always been What The F*ck. And will forever remain so. The whole Fruitbat thing is just so two years ago.

TR = therapeutic riding (and all the other convolutions :slight_smile: )

Nope, it’s definitely “Where’s the Fruitbat”

I remember the origins, but I don’t think the thread exists anymore. It was a looooong time ago - I remember there were pictures and names involved, too. sigh meeeemorieeeeeesss…

Let me see…

There’s “sybils”-when a poster posts as an alter on their own thread supporting themselves whenever they start looking wrong. Like a multiple personality. Knotheads usually use the same (bad) grammer and mispell the same words Plus the IP addy is the same…then they say it was houseguests. Hilarious.

You may sometimes see CLOTH instead of COTH…as in CLOTH TROLLS. That started when somebody outed as a liar (posted a known eventer and said it was herself) reacted and said CLOTH was bad and everybody sucked. The mispelling stuck and is still seen in response to the sublimely ridiculous.

Then there is “well whack me with a dead cactus” and you’d have to go to the archives and read the Arabian Jumper thread to get that one.

USEF (US Equestrian Federation) has replaced USAE , USAEq, AHSA, and USET.

That was coined by (I believe a poster by the name of Winged Panda) in response to a poster ranting about people cussing in her barn asking WTF was that about…

Winged Panda responded that WTF must not mean what everyone thought, but rather “where’s the fruitbat?”

Funny, funny thread. It might be in Favorites.

Don’t forget “magikal”

And there is always “attackative”, “asswhacked”, and my favorite…“hoo-hoo.”
