Court date for Michael Barisone?

Thank you that makes sense.

She turned herself in.

Found this about warrant recall in New Jersey.

Oh, so recalled warrant does not mean it went away on its own, it means the person wanted has been found?
I would not have guessed that was the meaning of that.

Edit to add - so all this time that LK has been posting that RC has an outstanding warrant and can not come back to the state, it has been puffing since RC has contacted the people she needs to contact?

Edit to add 2 - The article that @cutter99 posted makes it sound like recalled is different than satisfied.

It is my understanding that RC turned herself in in either NC or FL. I do not have proof of that personally.

So it is entirely possible that someone started a rumor and she turned herself in not knowing that the warrant had already been cancelled. 2 hours is a tight timeline for someone who is out of state to turn themselves in forā€¦.

The screenshots were from her FBā€¦.and they were conveniently editedā€¦.

I suspect she was aware a warrant was going to be or had been issued and her legal counsel advised her to turn herself in rather than wait for the warrant to be served. She went back home to New Bern after the shooting so I assume that is where she was processed.

This is what Google tells me it means when a Warrant is recalled.

It comes from here, I did not look hard enough to see if this firmā€™s information applies to NJ.

So to me that means that law enforcement had a warrant issued and then it was withdrawn so RC did not have to turn herself in and there are no charges pending right now.

so if that is the truth, LK has been slendering RC thenā€¦

That still doesnā€™t explain the recall and no notation of a court date or outcome, or why she isnā€™t in jail considering NJ is a very unforgiving gun state and has no bail. Even if she was in NC or FL, they would have shipped her to NJ in custody for the warrant/court time. Warrants arenā€™t issued willy nilly, a judge has to sign off based on probable causeā€¦.

I agree with this.

Our area has seen huge spikes in Covid cases this past weekend. I hope the courts donā€™t have to do another shutdown.

Wait! I thought the cameras werenā€™t working that day!!

Looks like some areas are having to postpone them again

That screenshot also creates a logical pickleā€¦.the offense date on the warrant is before the shooting implying the police knew about/had reports of the gun then. LKā€™s statement is from before the warrant. If they knew RC had a gun on the 5th and by September knew the gun in the shooting was RCā€™s ā€¦ā€¦why wait a until October to issue a warrant?

@KellyS, can you please discuss with your legal family/friends if I am understanding this correctly?
(This being my post that I have quoted here for you.)
Thank you in advance.

Always keep in mind the only people the police really talked to were RG, MB and LK once she was able. RG set the stage and I feel confident her dad helped the narrative too. MB was obviously a mental and physical mess (notice his swollen hand and injuries at the hearing). LK has changed her version of events so many times.

Reasonable doubt.

Searching for a particular post about the weapon, I came across this golden oldie which is interesting -

Doesnā€™t that add up to three shots?

Yep. This was among the first of her posts where the number of wounds and where she was and where MB was seemed to change from time to time.

This is also when I first wondered about the angle of the shots fired - straight or angled right to left. Certainly makes a difference I would think.
