Cross Country

lets do this right!

That’s a shame. Reggie looked amazing in the beginning. Looks like the footing will be taking a lot out of the horses today.

Buck was looking great but his horse is now absolutely shattered I think

Reggie retired at the last water. 2 refusals. He was very tired.

Wow. I wasn’t expecting that but he looked so tired. Poor Reggie.

Belgian rider has a fall. Not looking good. I am trying to think. At one I saw, maybe in Aus, there were 5 horses go through before anyone got around.

Also every horse has had trouble at that water.

can they adjust the time?

It sounds like maybe they just did to 10:30.

Paulank Brockagh…what a game little mare.

looks to me like they have all slowed down and are eating the time penalties.

I can’t wait to see how Ginny gets across this course. I don’t think I’ve ever see her tired.

Zara’s horse is really lovely. And so is Micheal Jung’s mare, can’t believe she’s only his number 2 horse!

For anyone following looking for updates, Sinead had a runout early at the corners at 5 but looking into her stride now, rolling along nicely

Not a good start for Sinead at the corners, Tate is looking rather sticky around the course.

ETA really? I think he looks a bit sticky, and he added through the water.

Tate still looking pretty good, Buck’s horse was pretty done by this point in the course

Yea he’s not jumping as well now, fell apart a bit at the water but I reckon still galloping ok. Buck’s horse was barely galloping at this stage!

though the last water, one of the better rides through there, she should be clear to the finish now but quite a big hit on time

That is true! I think Sinead will for sure finish, but I agree with the announcer’s that Tate kind of dogged her at the those corners.

I think the bank to the fish must be huge.
