Might be a good idea. The farrier rockered the back feet yesterday, and I rode him today. Just lightly, but he seemed to be moving well so I asked for a canter. A canter, dagnabbit not a hand gallop! He likes his magic shoes. Your chariot awaits, my lady.
Well, a chariot with new wheels! Who could pass that up??? I’ll start stockpiling mints. Perhaps I need to expand the gift selection- soft mints, peppermints, spearmints, Tic-Tac’s, Cert’s, See’s… Surely something will tickle his fancy.

well, heck, better start practicing getting the flask on the fly…[/QUOTE]
Personally, I’m fine with the slower pace of cubbing season. Since my tweed and my formal jacket are both wool, I’ll melt whether it’s September or October, but I’ll survive.
Bigbaytb now you’re a celebrity too! Wonder why this thread is so popular with the spammers??
Dahhhlink, Ve ave a following!
Cammie,
We have the paparrazzi/spammer because we have such a large following on this thread… That’s what happens when you have a public checking with bated breath to hear who has the latest high fashion imported English lorry, or the latest in tiaras. ( Did you notice that the latest English Princess to wed had a smaller, more subdued tiara than ours?.. No LED lites at all!)
I think that perhaps the many references to tiaras and princesses may be the spammer bait. They clearly believe that those who visit the hunting forum are “to the manor born”
Yeah, but evidently they know a guttersnipe when they see (read?) one, 'cause they haven’t cut and pasted ME!!!
What? I’ve been Quoted? what did I say and where was it?..was it good? Darn, famous and I didn’t even know it…LOL!
Bigbaytb- The spammer quoted your “flask on the fly” comment, then copied Hinderella’s remark on cubbing and tweed jackets again so it looked like she was responding to you. You were caught up with Hinderella in a spam plan to market hair removal products.
I feel so honored that my spammer is choosing to advertise gold instead!
:: slightly disgruntled :: Whyever was I not spammed? Whyever, I ask you?
Am I not Spam-worthy?
:: flips boa over shoulder :: If my schedule is not changed again, I should have the weekend of Nov. 11-14th off.
hmmmmm…
Gotta admit…my nose is outa joint about not being smap worthy too…I mean spam…well…I am not worthy either!
But…I gots me a new pickem up truck!! AND trailer getting tuned up!!
Gittin’ R Done!!
Bought new lightweight black coat that will no doubt take many pounds off my “look”…
Now I gotta locate a pink sparkly flask to buy…
Gots the tiara, the beads…hmmmm!
It is in Vegas!
Wateryglen,
The pink sparkly flask was a gift from the 1st hunting princess, Pleasantmeadow. She got it in Las Vegas…
I just got back from a business trip with my DH. It was in Las Vegas, and I saw a similar flask in an airport store out by the southwest airlines gates. I wish I had known you wanted one!
Congratulations on the new pick-up truck! Getting the trailer going again has got to feel sooo good. I’m looking forward to hunting with you this season.
I want to know where you found the coat. I can always use a lightweight one that lets me look, ummm…
less substantial…
CarrieK,
BigBayTb is hopefully coming for the Nov hunt. She is the magician of the original tiaras and lemoncello. I’m going to have fun watching the action, when you meet.
What is cubbing?
How long have you had these “get togethers” (where have I been)?
Does anybody have a small pony:lol:
I looked at the HR website when I saw the writers meeting and was just amazed, I had to favorite.
That writers workshop was amazing. I think they are taking it on the road, so keep an eye out for it in your area.
This COTH fox hunting thing is an organized attempt to indoctrinate unsuspecting horse owners into dropping out of society and devoting themselves to the art of venerie. Instead of a wimple, postulants don a tiara, boa, and after drinking one gallon of lemoncello, dance to the tune, Do You Ken John Peel.
After a night of carousing, the ones still able to stand exchange their tiaras for a suddenly too tight helmet, clamber aboard a saintly field hunter, and parade around the countryside, like the Virgin Queen on progress
Then they go shopping.
It’s big fun. You must join us.
Underthebridge, please
Underthebridge,
I sent you a p.m. Enjoy!

Underthebridge,

Thank You Very Much:cool:
Yes…I plan on the November hunt…
I will have to replace my tiara as the airlines CRUSHED mine on the way back from the last Coth hunt …
however…I may have to endeavor to find a princess flask…as the only one that fits my coat pocked has a skull and crossbones on it. LOL!
Ticket bought for September:D
BigBayTB, don’t blame the airlines. I managed to crush my own tiara the first time. I’m still picking tiara parts out of the carpet in my car (which tells you how often I clean the car). In March I left behind my tiara to be passed along to one of the child riders from the hunt, who I thought might enjoy it. So I’ll have to pick up another new one. Maybe I can get one that will velcro onto my helmet
Underthebridge, I’ll look forward to seeing you in September! It’s great fun, and don’t forget your camera.
