Maybe Mr Barry Irwin would like to come on and comment? Devorah earned a slap on the wrist per usual in an animal cruelty charge but I do like the Vet Check clause if it is inforced.

Just curious. Who is going to pay for and schedule those vet checks?

Such a familiar defense: “theft of horses through illegal and unwarranted seizure”.

Is there some kind of “neglectful owner” handbook that they all trade back and forth? Devorah Aikman with the TBs and Marsha Parkinson with the Arabians seem to have the exact same excuse.

There should have been more than just a slap on the wrist, and it’ll be interesting to find out if Aikman stays in place and follows through on the monthly vet visits, or if she will take the time honored step of all neglectful owners/hoarders and just pick up and leave so she can start doing the same thing all over again in a different location. That particular move must also be covered in the handbook.
