Any other ugly creatures there? Do you know where the kangaroo farm is, too, BTW? And I loff your directions…rusted out machinery!
OH would this be the proper day/weekend to quit smoking and drinking or save for another time?
Anyone up for a really big sunday dinner?

damn…i can’t see the photos - cut-n-paste didn’t work…only DMK’s link…help! I want to see too!
I’ve been thinking the same thing all along. Where is Steve ? Possibly Beachpony can call or email him?
Thank you Equibrit (or should be rename you Emubrit?) for the missed words. Very helpful.
So Emusement is still around?!?!? Wow. Has your neighbor just decided to hope he goes away? I would imagine that the novelty of this is well past worn off by now . . .
Ok Ok ok one little emu and now EVERYBODY is a comedian!
I must ask - did that darn fool emu really land on that horse’s back??!!!
Avery’s pretty laid-back but yeah, I reckon he’d run thru a fence too!

That was bad enough…but then Milo, the 5yo sort of hiked his rear leg up so Hugo could get a better angle??? Good GAWD…THEN Milo…um…well… he sort of…well…he “grew” and the nursing continued.

Oh dear lord! Good thing Milo isn’t a person or he’d be in all sorts of legal trouble for letting your little guy do THAT to him!
We had two emus pastured with our horses (racing stock) for the longest time. They never caused any problems and the horses were fine with them.

<span class=“ev_code_RED”>Awww…I feel sorry for him - he’s probably scared. Has he had food & H2O?</span>
In all sincerity posession IS 9/10 of the law…until the PD get involved…what’s your neighbors real take on this??? She keeping this sucka??? If it were me, it’s new name would be ''deceased" Enuf is enuf already…horses are frantic (Poor Milo) and your personal safety and that of the whole neighborhood is endangered. Time to appeal to the Emu consumer market…
<span class=“ev_code_PURPLE”>FUNNIEST</span> THREAD ever.
Oh yeah, and uh… sorry <hehehe> for your er, trouble <snicker snicker> and hope you get him back <snort snork snort> where he belongs <can’t hold it any longer> soon…
<span class=“ev_code_PURPLE”>MUA-A-HA-H-AH-AH-AH HAHAHAHA</span>
The EMU has LEFT the building! This morning he was roped and is gone. Just as we were all getting used to him
Though I do have a NEW dilemma…outside of the headless squirrel my schnauzer brought me AND Lily the chocolate lab that jumped the fence and chased around my goats, jumped out and went home…

Honestly don’t visit my farm…it just ain’t right over here.
The funny/sad part is every day is like Emu day now…there is a tree on the fenceline where Emu was dusting while he was here…
anyway tree lost a HUGE branchy section with leaves that is still in the pasture…I guess if I squint and flick my tail I can see how it looks like an Emu.
I regularly (EVERY DAY) ride up that fenceline with the faux-mu and every day EVERY day it is emu day all over again.
How big is the Brain Equus again?
What an emussing thread.
Fernie Fox - I want to know what the two of you talk about.
The photos almost made me come off of my chair. Are you sure that the ride em’ cowboy isn’t photoshopped? Sure looks like they’re both having a grand ole’ time.
Who’s serving up the emu-lets for breakfast? I guess it would take just one egg to feed a family of four.
Yes, Yes, Yes to an Emu-Cam…PLEASE…
LMH:
What I am about to tell you is the truth! I swear I am NOT making this up!
My husband & I were just on the way home from running some errands & I asked him if we could go for a little extra drive up the main road that our little road is off of. There is a ranch about a mile past us that someone bought recently & I have been wanting to meet them since they have a bunch of horses. I was hoping to maybe catch someone feeding or doing something with the horses so I told my husband to stop the car so I could take a real good look through the fence. Guess what I saw!!! AN EMU WITH THE HORSES!!! I couldn’t believe my eyes! I’ve never seen an emu anywhere but at the zoo (& on your property!)
There is hope for you. The horses were totally fine! Maybe it’s the new thing… horses & emus. Who knew?
I keep tellin’ ya and you wont listen … Load the emu up in a trailer and go to Silverwood Farm.
Let it loose in the driveway, hide the trailer, drive up the driveway after it and say to Liz " I found this emu wandering around the road in front of your place. It looked lost. Is it yours?" and then hightail it back down the driveway, laughing like Hell, and hook up your trailer and go back home again …
You can be assured that the emu will have a good home and it wont be your problem any longer!
See - wasnt that easy?!
