Do they even make breeches for people like me?

I’m starting to get frustrated. I’ve gotten, ahem, fluffy in the last few years and have had to size up in breeches and I’m realizing it’s possible I’ve never had a pair that truly fit me properly. I am 5’10”, about a size 6 in jeans. I carry all of my weight in my stomach and have NO WAIST. I think I’m a side 30 in breeches but I can’t seem to find anything that doesn’t create a terrible muffin top. I’ve tried so many brands. Pipers, Hadley’s, Romfh Sarafinas, Romfh Isabella’s, Tailored Sportmans, Tredstep Rosas…nothing seems to fit me right.

Anyone else built like me and have found their holy grail breeches?

I was going to suggest the Pipers but I see you have tried those. When you tried the Pipers, what about them didn’t work and maybe that will help with suggestions. For myself and Pipers, when I got the thigh to fit, I had a huge gaping waist.

They fit very low on me weirdly and created a lovely muffin top  They actually fit through the thighs and butt but then were too tight in the waist and also pulled down badly the second I started moving.

What about a “nice” riding tight instead of breeches? I’m a totally different height and shape than you but I have a devil of a time finding breeches as well. I’ve switched over to riding tights and I’m not ashamed!

Hehe, that’s a good idea. Do you have ones you’d recommend? I’d need something thick enough to hide the imperfections I’ve got going on.

I am short so can’t verify the length, but I have found that the cheaper and more stretchy brands work for me (Tuff Rider, Ovation etc.)

I have always wanted to check out Ovation. Is there a particular model you would recommend?

Similar build, but much shorter. I just got the Smartpak Hadley tights, and I really like them.

I have Ovations, and they are high waisted. Love them. Not expensive. Look at Riding Warehouse, they have a great selection. I’m not a huge silicone seat fan, hated the Pipers, but these are wonderful.

Try a pair of the grand prix hampton side zip breeches. They fit nicely without clinging or being baggy. And theres a tonnnn of room in the waist band. I dont think they sell them anymore but you can find them pretty easy on ebay. At your height I would definitly get longs.

I love the Noble Outfitters Balance tights. They have nice belt loops that accommodate a normal size belt. And a pocket on the leg that holds a cell phone. I bought a different brand/style of breeches recently and realized that there was no side pocket. Booooooo. I suppose the pocket could be a negative for showing, though. Kerrits makes similar tights that are pocketless. And Irideon, too.

I got the Noble Outfitters, and I like them, but I find them a bit tight in the waist for someone who is very straight figured.

I think mine are the Euro Melange ones.

But, but…pockets!! It didn’t occur to me until you mentioned it - I do buy them a size bigger than usual.

I love Ovation. All the styles I’ve tried fit great and last forever. The waist is high so it squeezes that muffin out of sight.

Just wanted to add that you have a gorgeous figure. Breeches are tough no matter what the build!

The Kerrits sit tight breeches that are pull-on help limit muffin top, but they are a bit less forgiving in other areas if you are looking at the white or beige ones. Best to size up in those, in my experience. I love Struck breeches for hiding sins and find them very comfortable. They fit generously and have a good amount of stretch, but I’m only 5’6, so I don’t know how they would fit a taller torso or leg.

I’m not built exactly like you, but give the Kerrits Microcord breeches a try. They’re pull on and have this awesome triangle waist portion that limits that muffin top.

I have the black set. But they do make a tan version as well.

You are so kind my friend!! Thank you!!
