My pup loves ToTW. He has issues with chicken, but does not like the salmon, so he gets the yellow bag (I forget the flavor) it has chicken further down the list of ing.

when I need help with food issues
The 3 corgis and the 2 pug mixes all eat the Chicken Soup dry food, either adult light or senior.
I swithched them to this because their groomer has her dogs on it. She is also an AKC and UKC judge and a smooth fox terrier breeder. I trust her judgement.
They also get a small handful of green beans and a little piece of bread with pimento cheese----for hiding pills.

I’ve had my kennel of Jack Russells on Science Diet original (w/ real chicken as the 1st ingredient) for over 15 years. I would’ve loved to have been able to feed even better foods, but the cost was astronomical. From time to time I’ve changed some dogs to different foods for various reasons. Most recently I switched one of my older girls, who had unexplained hepatitis to Blue Buffalo about a month ago. She deigned to eat it for a couple of days. Then she would only eat wet food for about a week. Then she stopped eating that and scarfed down some other dog’s SD. So that’s what she’s getting and she cleans it up. Go figure :winkgrin:
I started using Newman’s Own Organic Beef as wet food to mix in. The dogs love it, but golly it’s hard to mix in as it’s soooo sticky and stinky!
My mini aussie pup is getting Merrick’s puppy, dry and canned.
Taste of the wild here too for several years. If I feel like switching it up a bit I give them some Merrick cowboy formula. Dogs love it, they look great and I am happy.
Cats like it ok but I switched to the Authority from petsmart for sensitive stomachs and they seem to like that muuuuch better…
Our Kelpie/Aussie started grazing like a furry brown cow until we put the dogs on Canidae Grain-Free ALS, which is now called Pure Elements.
Grain free Earthborn Holistic as of now. I used TOTW for years though as also grain free. Not sure I see any difference.
Been feeding blue buffalo chicken and brown rice to all 6 of my dogs and they’ve never looked better. I fed Eukanuba before and my two little senior geezers used to have stinky, greasy, itchy coats but not any more.
TOTW and my guys only like the prairie version (yellow bag). I feel bad that they eat the same flavor day in and day out, but I’ve tried the others and even tried switching them to Blue Buffalo and other grain-free brands, but they won’t eat them as well.
My JRT also eats any and every fruit or veggie you put in front of him. Yesterday he was “helping” me pick blackberries, but I think he ate what he picked. =)

I have my dog on a whole food diet and make all of his food myself. I cook everything once a week, measure out his meals, keep a couple in the fridge and freeze the others, suppliment with leftovers when we have them (and they are dog food approved), and spend the same as amount of money as I did when I bought the bagged stuff. This obviously takes more time then buying dry food but I’ve gotten really good at using EVERY bit of food that comes into our house and we have virtually no food waste. 
Although we humans at as many whole foods (unprocessed) as we can so that makes it easy to convert into dog food.
I feed Orijen Adult to my 3 yr old Dobe and Orijen Large Breed Puppy to my 11 wk old Dobe. I prefer the grain free foods.
I don’t like Evo anymore as P&G bought out the company and I don’t like TOTW as they are owned by Diamond Pet Foods.
There are a couple others that are good like Wellness Core and Pro Nature if you want to go the grain free route.

A 15lb Shiba Inu. I free feed, so I just fill up her bowl whenever it’s empty.

That’s funny, because I’ve had the opposite experience. I’m currently housesitting for a couple that feeds Science Diet. I had to go pick up a bag of food for them - $40 for a 15lb bag. I was shocked. I pay $25 for 15lbs of TOTW.

In VA, I used to get the 44 lb bag for $35. Now they’ve made the bags smaller and no longer carry the 44 lb value bag. Here in NY the largest bag is 35 lbs and w/ coupons and shopping around I can get it for $35.00. This is the Adult original small bites. Small bags always cost more, but was this also one of the special diets?
My female gets fed Science Diet Prescription Formula CD because she is prone to UTIs. Before, she and my male were both getting fed Blue Buffalo Healthy Weight formula. He is still fed that.

It was Adult Healthy Mobility I believe, so yes, a special diet. I was still surprised. I’m so used to TOTW being seen as an “expensive” food when it really isn’t compared to other more mainstream brands.

I have been very happy with it.
They were previously on EVO’s red meat formula and it was FANTASTIC - sadly my finances do not allow for two 75lb dogs to eat that all the time.
Wellness chicken kibble and I cook up a whole chicken and debone it and mix it in. They are starting to give me that “not this again” look so it’s probably about time to switch to either another kibble or try some canned flavors.

TOTW for my 75-pound greyhound. We currently feed the Pacific Stream formula because it was recommended as being the easiest to digest (fish and only 1 major protein), but I will likely switch up the flavor next time and see how it goes. I get it for about $45 for a 30-pound bag.
I give her about 3-3.5 cups/day, and I add some fish oil and coconut oil to her diet - it has done WONDERS for her coat. People who come up to pet her cannot believe how incredibly silky and soft she is. She really does feel like petting a rabbit, it’s lovely = )
