Dogs in Cemeteries
It will dry so you probably won’t be able to tell. Are you talking on the ground or the actual marker? Think about it for a minute. My dad is buried in a very rural cemetery and the person who mows the grass lets his dog run around while he is cutting the grass and I thought it was nice. It never occurred to me to be all insulted??? Weird…
Here is what you are not getting: Just because YOU don’t mind if a dog relieves itself all over the grave of someone who was important to you does not mean that those who ARE bothered by it are being ridiculous. Why would anyone read this thread, and instead of opening your mind to the fact that cemeteries and grave sites are sensitive places for many people, make light of everyone whose opinion doesn’t match yours.

What kind of person would not be compelled to find another area to walk/run your dog? Anyone who does not know the answer to this question should probably read the narcissist threads.

I guess you didn’t read, but, the cemetery CARETAKER has a dog that runs around…so clearly the entire town in this rural town isn’t offended either, but, if you enjoy being offended fine by me. There are also Starbucks cups with no snowman to get upset over as well.

Read my post if it’s wet it’s not dry. Urine in a shady area doesn’t dry in a flash. If I visit 10 minutes after the dog I’ll see it and because of the pattern know what it is. And I was talking about on the gravestone.
Ok. Thank you and yes if such an unfortunate string of events should happen I can see you would be upset. Lets hope it doesn’t come to that though. In order for that to happen though a dog would have to urinate directly on the tombstone in the shade less than ten minutes prior to your arrival…fingers crossed and good luck. So far this hasn’t happened to me and I have two people buried in the grave where the caretaker lets his dog run all around while he mows and cares for the cemetery.

Oh, well then it’s all good. I guess if your n=1 is transferable to each and every case and applies in an infinite number of situations, I can see why anyone thinking it might not be as acceptable as you do must be unconditionally wrong, weird, or even (gasp) … Catholic.

There you go!!! I’m glad we have that settled.
