Doing business with JILL BURNELL? BEWARE.
So it is a fact!

How on earth do you have three dead foals at once? Are any of her friends able to say what happened?

Makes me so sad and sick.
We don’t know, can only speculate. I for sure can’t say this is fact (ohhh nooos, don’t get your attorney on me!).

But there is interesting information here from the AAEP’s site - see what it says about foals:

Actually I respect that. You should always judge everything on a case by case basis. If you read my comments you will see that I called many of those things irrelevant as well. I don’t care if she is living in filth for example. And I commented that the horses we have seen pictures of all looked fine and that even here in Maryland I stabled at a barn that had 30 horses on 6 acres so I knew it could be done. But that doesn’t change the fact that she defrauded many people. That is where my concern lies as I don’t want to see another name added to the defrauded list.
The fraud part comes harder for me. If someone had a contract and that contract was broken then court is the place. I have been in situations where someone has cried fowl over a sale not going their way. So yes that is an area of gray for me. Not saying someone made it up. But will not jump on board and bash either.

YES, the conditions of the lab are important

I’ve not posted at all on this yet…but this is worth repeating again. And again. And again.

Carry on.

Well my white flag is being waved. I was just informed by my friend that COTHalter’s post has been verified by several people independently. And with that I will no longer “enflame” by posting corrections of lies posted, which was my intent. And several others I know. I still do not condone lies, bashing, trashing etc, too many posts got so far from the truth I felt they eeded clarifying. But dead babies and a couple other things I picked up on the way are unacceptable so I will let the vultures pick over the bones.

I would venture to say that if the thread had stayed factual from the start you might not have had so many jumping in seemingly trying to defend JB.
Which friend is that? The same friend you went with to the farm to look at babies?
Your assumption would be incorrect. I can not imagine any officers of my acquaintance touching this hot mess with a ten foot pole.
As someone married to a Naval Officer, who also has wings, for over 20 years and the daughter of a retired Air Force Officer –
2BayBoys is absolutely correct.

When I was, maybe, 90 seconds into this saga, my husband said:
“Okay, so she’s farking evil. Sue her a$$, put her out of business, and make sure she rots in jail. Case closed.”

Brief and decisive. So, no, you won’t be finding him spending hours on CotH, ladies.
Yeah… that sarcastic font was missing again. I work in a law office, but we do “boring” contractual type stuff… I don’t work with an “Internet Crime Attorney”.
Well, you’re obviously missing out on a lot of lucrative work, sister!

On another board it was stated that at least one of the foals was extremely sick no fault of anything except born that way.

Unless the necropsy says “no fault of anything except born that way”…

Here is the scoop children!

Jill “technically” doesn’t have a sister-in-law  Her brother and Yvonne are common law. So technically, I guess Jill wasn’t lying  and she “doesn’t have” a sister-in-law…like regardless, that makes EVERYTHING else just go away.

In the words of Kristen Wiig, “Really? REALLY??”

And just an FYI. I have an attorney in the family. No attorney on this planet would advise their client to contact anyone directly…let alone threats through PM’s on a public bulletin board. And they most certainly would NOT tell the client to make sure the other person knows their attorney said so. God lord!

But see, this is speculation that gets the thread off track. Unless she sold those dead foal, that too is irrelevant. The horsemanship or lack there of needs to be a separate issue from fraud. If enough people stop doing business with her there won’t be any horses left to be cared for, adequately or not. The fact that there is a very good chance doing business with Jill Burnell of Gray Fox Farm needs to be the focus IMO and the rest will take care of itself.

What threat are you referring to? perhaps you need to educate yourself as to what constitutes a threat. Oh thats right you have an Attorney in the family…

2 No sorry 2 bayboys. (said while smiling not trying to put you in that category you don’t like.

No, sorry bayboys. Hate to ruin your conspiracy theory.

My theory was collusion, not conspiracy.

I will rephrase what I said then…I don’t think a good attorney would give that advice.

Well glad you got yourself put right then now aren’t we.
I think the technical phrase would be:
“in CAHOOTS with”

Just curious, but hypothetically because she probably would not allow it, could you hire a vet to do a PPE on the semen? Like you don’t want to “buy” the stud fee until you investigate the process of how said stallion owner collects and processes the semen? Or could you ask the SO to provide some sort of voucher from a vet that SO knows what they are doing, doing it in an acceptable manner, and that proper EVA protocol is being followed as to not contaminate semen from other stallions?
Actually you have not done or said anything to disprove my theory.

Obviously, Daventry, you are not familiar with the intricacies and nuances of the specialized Internet Crime Attorneys to which Mandarin refers.
