I am still in California. I am no longer associated with Mr Slaughter.
I want to keep this thread moving again because Mr Don Slaughter has not changed the way he does business. I want to keep him in the public eye and warn Florida Equine Businesses. I’ve seen Mr Slaughter at several shows in Ocala FL and Wellington FL… so I know he IS in the OCALA area. He now has a Civil Complaint against him in Marion County Florida Fifth Judicial Circuit Civil Division Filing #31639020 filed on 9/2/2015 (PUBIC RECORD) to Plaintiff Kandor Farm non-payment for board and expenses of $9,616.20+ for Lamborghini, Chester, Roger Rabbit and Summer Solstice.

Mr. Slaughter, according to the USEF website, is still suspended by USEF.
If you see him at any USEF show you might want to point him out to the steward.
Funny and sad to see this thread pop back up. The latest I heard, but unable to verify, is that there is a warrant for his arrest. No idea how to prove this as fact vs rumor, but certainly worth our Floridian friends to look into.
I think he and Luis Galindo should partner up or scam each other and see who has more scamming skills.

Don Slaughter is definitely in FL (as is the fake Baron, despite what he said in an earlier post), and up to his old tricks again, so people beware! He hasn’t declared bankruptcy in seven years, so he is ready to scam someone new…
