"DOUBLE JEOPARDY!" - Old Horse Show Trivia

but Sandsablaze and Buddy Brown
I THINK SPECIAL ENVOY was grey so it must be Bean Bag

It was Buddy Brown! Can’t think of the year, but I saw him at Devon, so it was '76 or later.

Three grooms?

Laurie

YEAH! Extra credit for anwering correctly something that wasn’t a question! Redemption for previously cheating and emailing Katie.

======================================

At one point I thought we were going to get to keep Annie because she would not get on a van.

SIR

Sloopy was a very nasty, bad mannered horse.
When he went to Europe he went by boat and had a special box made for him. Fantastic jumper though
but very hard to handle on the ground.
Just remembered this stuff. I don’t think Neal rode him until he grew out of the eq division.
Was Jacks or Better his eq horse?

Santos- Greg Best?
(Watch this- for Red Rose Farm- ha!)

Artesian- Kristi Gerstner

The movie I saw 2 days ago- no idea.

That’s right Erin - As Dr. Phil McGraw says on Oprah - “It’s OK to look at the past - just don’t stare at it.”

Not relevant to showing I suppose - but I really like Dr. Phil.

IDLE DICE: Rodney Jenkins, Buddy Brown, Steve Stephens, Terry Rudd

ALBANY: Abby’s answers plus RJ rode him in the Invitational once.

QUITE FLIGHT: RJ and Joan Boyce (not sure about that one)

NITE MURMUR:Gene Estep, Michele McEvoy Grubb

SUNDANCER: Jim Day, MMGrubb

BALBUCO: Conrad Homfeld, Rodney Jenkins in the US

JET RUN: Michael Matz, Fernando Senderaz (sp?)

TOUCH OF CLASS: Joe Fargis, Debbie Conner Lopez

ABDULLAH: Debbie Stephens, Conrad Homfeld

Another good one from Shorty.

Larie, I agree that SQUEAKY did not have alot of ponies to compete against, but remember, he was hardly a raving beauty or the best of movers ! So much for the model or hack.
He really had to jump his was to being champion.
Plus, finding ANYONE tiny enough to ride him was close to impossible !

Kelley rode Missy Clark’s Harley to win the Maclay.

Now, cutelilpony asked about Canadians in the Medal, not the Maclay. The only Canadian I know of who won the Medal won it the same year Kelley won the Maclay - Melani Walter.

Buddy Brown possibly???

Strapper?

You’re tickets will be arriving by Amish buggy.

And I too wish everyone, especially those who play “Double Jeopardy” Happy New Year. May you adhere to at least one of your resolutions!

was in 1980.

Yes, Emmet, you are indeed right! And Roofer’s brakes were questionable at times as well!

This thread is so much fun!!

Laurie

Good guess, but you’re still shoveling coal to get on the cruise ship.

I didn’t think you had to be PRE-HISTORIC to get this one!
Holy CATS!

and what GP rider lived on that farm after Buddy?

Which Gran Prix Jumper & Pony Hunter Shared the same name ?
How many can you think of ?
Any Tense !
Is/Were there more than one ?
BONUS CRUISE Points For Naming the Riders of each !
