Dressage Horse shopping

SLF starts some of theirs in dressage. Just saw one of theirs at 9yo come up for sale as a hunter that had done dressage as a young horse.

I think that will be hard to find as a going youngster Cowgirl, I expect to pay that sort of money for a very nice 2 year old and then wait a bit and get it started. I do think it’s a lot of money to pay but haven’t found anything going that has lived up to it’s promise for that money (plenty of ‘nearly’ what I want though …) I,ve found it better to just pay for the right horse and avoid the buying selling time wasting cycle personally.

I don’t know, I think the prices are high right now too. My trainer bought a few imports to sell over here due to the prices people are getting for quality horses. I have a 4 year old that I am going to sell, and I was advised to raise my price by more than one professional in the Dressage industry.

Re. a Lyme test, I just purchased a horse from Boston and was advised to get the test. It’s not that expensive in the overall PPE cost.
