Dressage: What do you think so far?

Of the competition? Rain? Horses? Quality of riding?

I’m looking forward to seeing Steffan and Legolas tomorrow.

Rain happens - just ask Andrew Nicholson…

As for the quality, there were some stunning horses. I also felt some rides were below the standard I expected.

Laura Graves 74.871% !

After 3 rides each, Dutch lying 2nd, Spain 3rd, US 4th and Brits 5th.

Pouring. Let’s hope it’s brief.

But LUCKY YOU!! What’s happening now?

Spain has made a fairly strong showing so far. I think a lot of people forgot about Spain when making medal predictions.

I absolutely loathe loathe loathe the official website. Why the heck can’t they just have a prominent list of results scoresbas they come in? All I can find is drop down menu after drop down menu ultimately leading to an automatic .pdf download. Wtf??? Is there a simple list of standings anywhere?

Official website is frenetic and flashy with little useable substance. Gah!

Click Schedule & Results at the top of the page, then click the green box that says “live” next to Grand Prix Day 2 and you get the live scoring as well as the individual standings.

^Thanks but that does not work for me. Don’t know why. I get taken to a page with vid links and rider world standings and other fluff every time I try that.

Thanks for posting the video of Verdades’ ride. It was a pleasure to watch!

Thanks, pony4me, that did work. And I finally got the live button to work by blowing up the screen size very very huge on my phone and really pressing right on the button. I think it was selecting the line instead of the button.

Brazilian Rider was eliminated for going off course. How is that? It should have been a 2- penalty shouldn’t it? Even the commentators said as much.

I thought she was spun out lame.

apparently, it was lameness. But they are comparing it to Adalina 4 years ago. They didn’t say what it was, so I didn’t know.
