Watching live scores, and as someone mentioned above (or on the dressage forum), there are pretty significant differences in judge’s scores. For Steffen in the special, one judge had him 14th (I think Clarke), and two had him in first (US and Canadian)! (and those numbers will change as other riders go and score in higher positions) Sheesh! That’s quite a difference in score!
Very interested to see the score sheets and then a video of the ride.
How did Adrienne’s ride go? I see that unfortunately she is at the bottom.

I love it that only one judge had valegro behind Damon hill and my guess was correct when I looked up who it was . At some point should they not boot out the judge who always ALWAYS displays national bias? i mean, looking at the track record, at this level, surely,

I only saw on facebook that Adrienne posted something about Wizard being naughty - I can’t watch now, but would love someone to share what happened!
Laura will learn things like improving balance into and throughout her half passes, and that’s what Steffen rides better than anyone in the world. I don’t find that makes a big impression on me just watching until I try to analyze, and it really makes a difference in scoring.
Not as bad as I thought from the score, but he wasn’t in the mood to piaffe apparently and at one point was jumping around instead of piaffing. Also had a problem in the 2 tempos.
Why does Charlotte hold that little stuffed horse all the time? Kind of silly for a WEG champion on a podium receiving her gold medal…
I think that’s the mascot for the WEG, probably she gets one as part of her prize.

Charlotte isn’t the only one that’s been carrying around the mascot, its something they got before the games. Mandy McCutcheon has her own WEG mascot. For a while now people have been doing this thing where they take their personal mascot around with them, take pictures and videos of it.

Ah come on peeps - I would be happy just to be CDJ - I would die to just sit on V - and to be at the WEG. If that means carrying around a cute little mascot - so what!!
