Dressage: What do you think so far?
Scores in the 30’s would be normal eventing dressage scores if you are talking about certain levels. I think it’s only the FEI events that use the 1.5 factor?
Yes, FEI scores have the 1.5 factor for eventing dressage. And in Canada, because we are special like that for regular horse trials. In the US, at regular horse trials, they are simply converted (ie 70% dressage turns into 30 penalty points).

Laura Graves’ two rides were fantastic - can’t wait to see her again today. Going to be quite an afternoon in Caen

Laura & Verdades just scored an 82 on their freestyle. How wonderful is that?

(Their previous FS high score was 76.9 in Aachen)

92% for Valegro. Holy Cow. The judges didn’t leave much room above here for Parzival.

Anyone see Vicky Max-Theurer’s ride?

In fact they did not need room above her, as Parzival finished below her… Personally I cannot compare the rides, CD and V are FAR superior. P seemed to have issues with left (right?_ stifle… ) and was not as smooth and powerful as V. No comparison.

Dressage has improved so much in the last decade! It’s a joy to watch.
