No I wasn’t banned. I just couldn’t post on this particular thread until someone replied to me. You apparently cannot post more than 5 times in a row on one thread, without a response from someone.
It’s really no biggie, I was just trying to comment in case anyone was interested and unable to watch the competition.
It was a software generated screen that advised me of the rule, not an actual moderator.
That’s odd. Thanks for letting us know about it!
I think I am one of few people here that are willing to talk to themselves without a response, and that’s usually to do with TB racehorse auctions. I’ll just have to deal.
With all the other riders (eventers are already there too), grooms and spare officials sitting in the stands, what struck me was that there are probably more people than usual watching a dressage competition. The last one I went to had an audience of about six!
Bott prevention.
What a stupid rule. Maybe just keep editing your post with the newest post to get around this rule?
New dewormer with lower incidence of resistance?
More important question: who designed the shadbelly worn by the Moroccan rider and the Brazilian rider? They are super. I can’t find anything online. Someone must know something…
Start times for the Special tomorrow: https://olympics.com/tokyo-2020/olympic-games/resOG2020-/pdf/OG2020-/EQU/OG2020-_EQU_C51(D)B_EQUODRESTEAM----------GPSP000100--.pdf
Names of riders…? Ill do some sleuthing…
Yessin Rahmouni for Morocco and Joao Victor Marcari Oliva for Brazil. There is a logo on the left arm of their jackets, but I can’t find a hi-res enough photo to blow it up.
It’s a slow day at work - I figured out the brand: Horse Pilot. Looks like this particular shadbelly design isn’t available for public consumption… yet.
boy they just can’t seem to catch a break, especially the dressage people.
Can you post of pic of these? I found one of the Brazilian but he is bent over hugging his horse, so not much shad to see, lol.
Thanks!! I’m not quite sure what I’m seeing on the front - looks like a built in vest look? Did Joao unbutton his or is it somehow made that way? They do look nice!
Yes, they have a built in vest with an asymmetrical zipper - the buttons are ornamental only. The front panels are cut away and set on a sort of bias line, so they swoop into the tails.
If you missed it, here is a link to full replays (not just the selection that NBCSports was playing on cable). https://www.nbcolympics.com/replays/sport/equestrian/event/dressage-individual-equ-o?fbclid=IwAR0jQBC5nJrJBzfOPBeTVhrwe6OCvL15C-mICCdx9jSGRmB_KbsuUfZONEA
It looks like they’re more or less going for this look sans bowtie:
