Dressage!

Thanks for the tip, I’d been looking for somewhere that had them in stock and just ordered one! Nothing fits me as well as the CO’s do, but I’ve been desperately wanting some ventilation, in addition to the MIPS!

Sad for Adrienne but the right call. Did anyone else think he looked off behind in the special? Selfishly I’ll admit I’m giddy with excitement for Brittany Fraser. So glad she gets the chance to ride again.

Isn’t he originally from Germany?

Ja! He is. I was lucky to attend a few clinics of his maybe 13 years ago. He said the most thing you should do when you start riding is supple your horse. Next, you supple your horse. Thirdly, you supple your horse.

Eurodressage has the order of go.

Here we go! :hugs:

Go Canada. Ms. Fraser looking good!

She seems tiny on that horse, is she, or is it just my view?.

I should definitely not be watching this… but since a Canadian got in by the skin of her teeth, I thought I should!

Only 3 horses so far, I liked the Danish rider’s music the best so far. I wish there wasn’t so much elevator muzak, and that there would be a “storyline” that connected all the music (in that respect, Brittany Fraser-Beaulieu’s music did).

Portuguese Lusitano dancing to Pink Floyd!
Very creative. Lovely.

Loved him! It’s great when the sense of occasion and showmanship can get the crowd excited - to me, that’s part of what the freestyle is about.

Canadian live stream has no commentary today.
Is that normal in the Freestyle so commentators do not take away from the harmony with the music?

I don’t know - but I’m enjoying it without commentary!

Excuse me while I hold my breath id love these to go well. Good luck Carl!

I think that the commentators do hold back during the freestyle more than they do for the GP and the GPS.

Because the Freestyle doesn’t have the same ridged specificity of movements in order (that the GP and the GPS have) it does has it’s technical requirements. However, there is much more leeway to do what movements the horse does best in the freestyle and the artistry becomes a factor…
