Her coat is slightly coarse like a lab, but its soft. There is a lot of coat, I would call it dense.
You are on the right track with shepard, be more specific, but don’t get tunnel visioned on “shepard”.

Hmmmm some sort of herding breed? I have to run to an appointment. Can’t wait to hear if someone guesses it! I’ll be back.
Hmmmm dense coat. Not a Shepard but Shepard adjacent …. Malinois? (Forgive me if I spelled that wrong).
OK now I really have to go lol
black lab, weimaraner, and english shepherd - trying to figure out breeds that have dilute, since you said some of the litter were silver.
Weimaraner was going to be my guess too since you said so many were silver.
@phantomhorse yes on black lab, no to weimaraner as well as english shepard. The weimaraner is a good guess though. @trubandloki I would have through Weimaraner as well, but she’s not leggy enough. @ThreeWishes no to Malinois
Here is a hint everyone.
She is 75.1% labrador, we can all see that.
19.9% blank
5% blank
The other two breeds are discussed upthread regarding Tiger. BUT there is debate on whether or not this smaller presentage “breed” even is a breed with purests.
Also, the dam’s owner thought she was bred with X, people often mistake breed X for Lilly’s sire breed from a distance and quick glance. (I hope that makes sense).
Miniature American Shepherd? AKA Mini-Aussie?
That’s all I can think of as “not really considered a breed”
Surely not Anatolian, although that goes with Shepherd
boxer? though you said not leggy and they seem long-legged to me. they certainly come in a variety of colors so wouldn’t be surprised if they came in dilute.
catahoula was also discussed with tiger, but that is a hound and probably not very common in PA.
how about Dobie? they can have dilute.
Besides black lab I’m going to guess another kind of retriever (Chessie, maybe), plus some poodle.
Vizsla?
We have a winner winner chicken dinner!! @Mosey_2003
75.1% Lab
19.9% Australian Shepherd
5% Miniature / MAS type Australian Shepard
The lady that had the litter though the sire was a Border Collie. I was really, really,…REALLY hoping for the Border Collie confirmation. She said she saw the “act” from a far and a Aussie can look like a BC from a far.
I think I am just going to call her a lab collie cross.
@chestnutmarebeware a Chessie result would have been awesome and I would have had a melt down if poodle was in there. They are lovely dogs, but I am anti doodle.
@phantomhorse I would have picked Catahoula too, Dobie is a good suggestion, her snout is dobie-ish. And she is so handsy. I would have picked Boxer too, she always wants to give me her paw and high five. No I did not teach her that. I am ignoring it.
@Janet Vizsla is a good guess, esp with the line of thinking with weimer with the silver.
Now, I am no genetic expert, but how did 4 of her littermates end up silver? Is that dulite gene found in Aussies?
I think that makes her a Lollie!
I LOVE THIS! I am going to call her a Lollie!
Silly Lollie Lilly !!
Dilute is found in Aussies, though is out of standard AFAIK so most cough reputable breeders try to stay away from it.
Not going to get into the is-the-MAS-really-just-a-small-Aussie… but dilute could have come from that, too.
We have a purebred lab who is petite and incredibly handsy: give paw, high five, throw front feet at you when playing (which we def did not teach her, nor encourage). If we didn’t know her parents, we would have believed there was boxer in there somewhere!
@ThreeWishes We neutered a year-old stray and I recall that it took quite awhile, months and maybe close to a year, for the dog’s change purse to truly disappear.
Also, I don’t know if you’ve looked at the Posture Prep thread in maybe Horse Care (?) but it’s a grooming aide that is meant to help break up scar tissue and get the fascia to slide. My kissing spine mare who hates all grooming loves it and gives all sorts of releases. This may really help Tiger…I’m almost certain they have a dog version. Google Posture Prep and see if it’s of interest.
Unfortunately, silver labs are a thing.
Thanks @rockymouse! I have the horse one. I will definitely try some fascia release on Tiger.
The Lab People have said that Weimaraners were bred into the purebred Labs to create that color. AND that they know the people/kennels who started this ‘coloring’, owning and breeding both Weimaraners AND Labs.
