Yay, Class Action for taking the Grappa Trophy. He deserved it!
YAY Class Action!
Congrats to all horses, trainers, and riders on a job well done!
Wow what a great day of riding. You really saw the heart and determination of the riders when faced with difficulty. We all have those crappy rides/days, and I think what counts is getting back on and doing it again, at whatever level you’re at. Kudos to all the riders who competed!
I’ve seen Stallone go a lot and I think he just looked off today. He is definitely not usually such a dirty stopper.
He jumped one round in the morning, and if he had been done I don’t think he would have been sore - 2 rounds over 2 days is normal for most horses. However, four more rounds is a lot for any horse, and I think the extra jumping just aggravated some lameness somewhere that might have not been an issue normally. Add Charlotte’s unfortunate crash through the Swedish into that mix, and the soreness/lost confidence probably ended it for him.
Congrats to Michael!
Re: the horses. I think I heard the announcer call Isabelle’s horse Catwalk something (a number) and Geoffrey’s mare was Sierra?
I’m racking my brain here, but Monterrey’s old name starred with a U, like Uriel?

You are correct about Isabelle, she rode her Jr Jumper Catwalk 19. Geoffrey rode a gelding named Charon, but will ride Sierra this coming week!
And Monterrey used to be Uriam, and was Reserve champion and best horse when Sam Schaeffer won on Pioneer 2 years ago.
Thanks for the correction Piggiejump! Oh, and please send Class Action my way please! You guys have lots of horses, you’ll never notice one missing…I’ll PM you my address
Anyone know Zagreb’s breeding ? I should add I’d love to know the actual bloodlines. The barn website says he is 9 yr old Dutch recently imported.
