ES Hanoverian Stallion All the Gold

Can you tell me about your All the Gold foals/mares?

What is his current stud fee/availability?

There was a children’s hunter this year, A Bit of Gold, I think there is a picture of him in one of the recent chronicles, won the Penn National (NAL) childrens hunter class. Very nice looking chestnut and jumps adorable. I think people who know the horse post on here in the hunter / jumper forum. From what I know, All the Gold has an AMAZING jump and passes that on to his offspring. Don’t know much about the personality though, but the jump is WOW!

I owned a 17.3 hand grey gelding by All The Gold out of a TB mare. I called him All About Me and he was an amazing jumper and incredible mover! I miss that horse so much.

i have a friend that has several all the gold offspring. all going under saddle, all very nice hunters with an awesome jump. will be glad to send you several pictures by email.

I wanted to breed my mare to him for quite some time actually. any babies I saw were quite well bred, and quite smart as well! I wish I could give you some real concrete information but that is all I have. Never once have I see one of his babies that I do not like.

I contacted them a few years back when he was still shipping fresh but I am doubtful he is still doing that. Anyone know?

Thanks! I’d love that! sherry at graystonefarm.com

Thank you!

He’s close enough for the mare to be shipped to him for breeding. But I’d be curious about his recent success rate with AI in getting mares in foal. Anyone expecting one in 2009 or know of any?

Is there frozen?

Officially retired, though he may cover a few mares if you ask. Mare must be shipped to thier farm. Stud fee is 5k with NO LFG.

I know they shipped semen on him last spring to a mare at Sandy Holbrook’s - www.sugarbrook.com - you might ask her if she knows more.

I believe All the Gold is by Gepard. Are there many out there now that are by Gepard? My stallion is by Gonzo I, who was by Gepard. I’m curious as to whether these lines would be considered “old style” jumper Hanoverian and if so, how rare? Pretty fabulous jumpers regardless.

I have two All the Gold colts. They are beautiful and move well. The people at the farm are great to work with. They shipped fresh to us last year. My mare didn’t take after 2 tries so we shipped her up there.

She took first time when we didn’t have to add any extender.

We love our foals…very smart and personable.

Pictures of our yearling and weanling are attached.

Pretty babies EllenAspen. The few that I’ve seen have been a little challenging personality wise but they were out of TB mares.

EllenAspen are yours out of WB or TB mares?

WB mares…imported from Germany…the yearling’s dam is Westphalian by Araconit and the weanling’s is Holsteiner by Calido I.

Both mares have been approved for the Hanoverian studbook.

I’m also wondering if there are any others out there with Gepard up close? Silvio (not the one here in the US) has him as a dam-sire…anyone else out there?

Calido I is yummy - what are your plans for that one?

Raise him up…show him in the hunter world…market him…etc…

I should have been more specific - are these plans going to include him staying intact?

Ohhh!! We plan to keep one of these two All the Gold’s intact. We are waiting to see which we think will be more mentally suitable.
