Just a random observation from looking through COTH’s photos, but the browband worn in the jog by the horse competing for Zimbabwe is beautiful.
Is there a page that shows results from today (dressage day 1)?
I really liked Sandra Auffauths helmet! It was sparkly, but I didn’t notice it during her ride. Just gorgeous. I also liked the girl from Zimbabwe’s brow band.
EN usually is quick on the draw, and is posting live. They always have things up first, but COTH comes later and with much more detail. En has links for everything.
Blessings on the Canadians, they shared their link to results and ride times.

Link?
How tall is William Fox-Pitt? Saw a picture of him and his horse at the jog, and it looked like either he was tall or the horse was short. Just curious which. Thanks. It is awesome to see him doing so well on the comeback after his injury.
According to the NBC commentators he’s 6’5"
Here’s the photo of Zimbabwe’s Camilla Kruger and her horse during the jog:

Does anyone know who the second commentator is?
What happened during Dotton’s test? Must have been something massively bad.

He is over 6 feet… I think 6’4 or 6’5.

Velvet, do you mean Dutton? he hasn’t gone yet.
What did you think of the Frenchman that was a teacher at Cadre noir? WOW
I thought Lauren had a good ride, but I guess that is why I am not a judge
Me, too re: Lauren. I thought they did great.
Anybody else having audio/video synch issues? The video is lagging 5 seconds or so behind the audio.
What would be the equivalent level in eventing dressage vs regular dressage? I’m seeing trot and canter half passes, flying changes, shoulder ins, counter canter, and lengthenings, but not piaffe, passage, or tempi changes. So would you say 3rd level? 4th?
MojitoMare, yes, I believe 4* eventing dressage is considered comparable to 3rd level “straight” dressage in the US.
Anne, mine froze for about 30 seconds, and they were unsynched[?] for the rest of the morning. that will be very bad if it happens during cross country! Since you cant really catch up, I chanced it and went back to base on roku, and reloaded. It took a couple of minutes but I think I got it. Now that they have had an hour hopefully it will catch up!
Yes, Dutton. Typo.
NBC has a score up for him.
