Very true. But to be in the gold medal position and lose it is heartbreaking.
Sad to see Harry Meades walking… how come he does get a medal with the team as he did not compete all phases of eventing? I am glad he does, but still curious!

Well I hope the leading Kiwi was Andrew Nicholson that was kept off the podium. Heartbreaking to lose the gold after leading the competition, but that’s eventing. William leaves with with silver and bronze, still a great result despite the disappointment.
The top Kiwis were Jonelle Price and Classic Moet.
