It’s not complete yet, but will be tomorrow! In the meantime though, I got some pretty danged cute pictures that I can’t stand not sharing any longer! :winkgrin:

Deconstruction of existing Tent de Burro
Odie helping move the mats… Yep, lots o’ help.
Rory was more of a mid-management type helper :lol:
Consultation on ground set up.
Rory checked out the tools and materials. Telling ya, management material.
Hands-on (or is it “hooves-on”?) was Odie’s plan.
But don’t sit on the job…Odie is a slave-master!!
He doesn’t mind getting his hooves dirty!!
Or just standing around, being useful.
Odie was skeptical of my ability to use power tools…

I’ll update with more tomorrow, hopefully of one finished Donkey Shelter Plans are for finishing the roof, installation of gates, and trim tomorrow. Hopefully another coat of paint as well, but no guarantees.

Many years back I was fixing a fence while a friend’s Mustang mare oversaw the job. I put down the hammer, she picked it up and took off. He had to round her up to get it back for me. Looks like your crew is a bit more on task!

I’m finishing painting and putting latches on stuff today, and will have final pictures then, buuuuut…

Seems that Odie is having an absolutely wonderful time with all the excitement going on there.
He will feel lonely when all is done and the humans in his life go on to other things.
Then all he will have left is his horse buddies, the old stick-in-the-mud ones.

OK, I managed to more paint on the Donkey Digs today, so other than some hardware, it’s done

First of all, his BFF Rory apparently loves paint.
