On the website, the person has upscale saddles for $2500 and up. On HorseClicks, they have saddles for $1000-2000. Is this a bait-and-switch operation? Or do they just put lesser brands or not as good condition or older saddles on HorseClicks?
I know absolutely nothing about HorseClicks (either as a website or in relation to Redwood Tack) but I have both bought and sold through Redwood Tack and it was a pleasure both times. Absolutely a legitimate company.
Leah runs this business and does a great job. She mostly deals in high end tack but maybe she puts some lower end items on other sites. She is totally legit.
I echo the above. She bought a saddle from me to resell and the transaction was seamless. I’d recommend her without hesitation.
Same - had a great experience buying from her!
I’ve had multiple experiences buying from Leah and selling to her and she’s great. Would recommend 100%
I also recommend Leah. I’ve bought and sold saddles from her and have been pleased every time.
Thank you everyone!
I have no experience with them, but have noticed their ads on Horseclicks and looked at their site, and have a feeling the Horseclicks ads are just old and haven’t been removed.
I have bought and sold with them as well, 100% happy
Is it possible that the Horseclicks ads are not actually them but are someone who stole their photos?
Yet another thumbs up for Leah at Redeood Tack. She’s local to me and was extremely helpful and patient as I tried 9 saddles from her! (Did find a winner, TG)
Another praise for Redwood Tack
I never thought about that, that is a possibility.
I think I used Horseclicks once years ago and the ad stayed up for quite a while even after I tried to get it taken down, but was finally able to contact them and get it removed. That is why I thought maybe they could be old ads of saddles that have sold as well.
Another recommendation for Leah. I bought a saddle and traded mine in and had a great and very easy transaction, even when I had do try a few!
I also had a great experience with Leah. I highly recommend!
thumbs up for Leah. Bought a saddle from her, she was super nice, seamless and really tries to work with me. Seamless!
I have never bought off Facebook. Worried. Offered to drive up to her to buy saddle and she wouldn’t let me. Sale off. Odd……
I meannn… many of us have bought from Redwood or discussed saddles and felt it was a professional organization. I wouldn’t be worried based on the thread here that tells you they’re reputable.
Some of these online saddle sellers don’t have a brick and mortar and keep saddles in warehouses. So they drop-ship. In this day and age, I’m less inclined to meet people face to face with a $3000+ item.
Leah is great. I was really struggling to find a saddle and she did let me try a bunch and the one I got is great. She’s good a great rep around here - if she can’t accommodate an in person sale don’t be put off.
