The photos are great–Thank you!!! I’m volunteering there tomorrow–should be fun! The weather looks great for the weekend and the rain we got today should make the footing just about perfect for Saturday. Fingers crossed it is a great event for everyone!!!
That is so cool - how many CCI*** owners VOLUNTEER at dressage day? Three big cheers for BFNE!!!
I have to send good luck to two horses I got off the track at Hoosier Park that are dong the **–good luck to Tex and Syd & Finn and Melissa (Diablo Tejano & High Finance (JC What A Rebel).
Good luck everyone!
Had to laugh when I was looking at the jog pics on EN , Sound Prospect… hope he always trots up sound
P.
Definitely rooting for Farrah (how can you not?!) but also rooting big time for Area VI’s Tamie Smith and Twizted Syster!!!
Kelly Prather in the 2*. She makes up her own horses and is a class act.
And, of course, the pony. How can you not?
I might even get to see BFNE as I am also volunteering on Friday (and then missing the jumping days for the worst timed work conference ever). The footing is likely to be better than is usual at Fair Hill (given epic amounts of rain over the past several years) if the forecast doesn’t change.
Is there going to be live streaming anywhere? I was really tempted to come and watch but I can’t justify 8+ hours in the car this weekend.
Looks like great weather for the weekend - can’t wait!
I’m rooting for everyone…how do you choose?
Retread, I can’t see your pics.
And WAAAAHOOOOO! for Divine Comedy – 52.2!!!

Not quite. He was bad but not that bad last year (his Plantation score last year, though, yeah).

Very cool! Was fun helping this morning. Lots of lovely horses. Footing seems fine so far! Planning to be there tomorrow in the morning to watch my guy do dressage…then need to go to work. Bummer you are missing the “fun” days this weekend!
Farrah is sitting in 15th out of 55 after dressage!
Guess what…I met William Micklem and he said,

The four year olds were fantastic. Very nice class of horses
How’s that for a compliment? Wonderful competition with young horses he said.
So…whose going to watch the unicorns jump tomorrow? I gotta bump this thread before I die of exhaustion. Up VERY VERY VERY early tomorrow as we have to be in the field about 6:30 a.m. Yikes! First horse at 8:30 which means we have to be rockin’ in warmup about 7:30 along with parking and lots of other excitement…
I have brought unicorn feed just in case any need some so stop by warmup and say hi if you are back that way!
GOOD LUCK and SAFE/FUN rides to ALL today!!!
For those that are there, any updates would be fantastic. I am always a wreck when I’m there in person to watch Tate run around, when I’m home and far away in FL (like today), well lets just say my stomach is already churning. (he’s number 49).
ETA I found the link to PRO radio’s live stream: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/pro-tour-series---live-eventing-radio
It seems that fence 18 is a bug-a-boo…
EN is also doing a running commentary. There seem to be quite a few problems on course, the part that I saw.
Safe rides, everyone.
