Famous ponies?

What are some famous small and medium pony hunters from the past 10 or so years?

Ones I can think of that are still pretty recent

Tuscany (M)
Black Berry (S)
My Little Dickens (S)
Cardiff Mardi Gras (S)
Super Trooper (S)
Enchanted Forest (M)
Rockette (M)
Far From Home (S)
Miss Australia (S)

Some more recent ones:
Rico Suave

Everyday Enzo
Hilton Hhonors (but died last september, R.I.P.)
Elation
Rolling Stone

Royal T
Ever Luvin
Halo
Cleverist
(mediums)

Pony Dot Com
Buzz Light Year
Who’s Kidding Who

Just the first ones to come to mind. Sorry I don’t know sizes. I keep thinking of another but can’t come up with a name right now…

Halcyon Hawthorne
Northwind’s Onyx
Strike A Pose
Satin
Rainbow Connection

Miss Australia and My Little Dickens are two of my favorite ponys!

The ones I miss seeing the most are:

Chapel Hill - cant remember the rider but the pony was fantastic - large
Almost Majic - julianne befeler but was sold to the Linders after Devon, I think in '99 or '00 - med
Toy Story (the small) - Maggie Macalary - the story on that one was he came from a kill pen as a young thing.

Anhd, of course…El Nino…I think one of the Weisman kids rode that one also - med

Ok…I took a guess at the riders they last had (or the riders they had during the era youa re asking about).

Sorry…not up on my smalls becasue I never had a kid small enough to do them

I grew up idolizing the ponies and riders. When I was 10, I always dreamed of competing against them and actually wanted their autographs. Those are the best of the best.

Enchanted Forest was one of the first warmblood ponies to be really really successful. He was imported by Eddie Horowitz and Alex Arute bought him as a green pony. He was particularly famous for getting a 99 in the under saddle at Pony Finals.

Same child also had Far from Home who was also an import.

Miss Australia was imported from, you guessed it, Australia, along with another pony called Bells n Whistles. They were champion and reserve at Pony Finals in the greens in the same year.

I thought Enchanted Forest was a New Forest pony not a WB?

What about Madame Alexander and Orlando? They both did very well in the last decade.

Thats what I thought also.

Portrait Painter is/was a large, though not a big one.

I saw him not long ago- he has a very nice situation as a W/T first pony.

In addition to many listed, Tuscany (M) was all that and then some a few years ago. Also Vanity Fair (L) has been quite the thing the last few years. Oh, and Emerson, also a large. Haven’t heard boo peep out of him in a while though.

Where did Time to Talk (L) go? That was a lovely pony.

So, smalls:
My Little Dickens (won pretty much every major under saddle)
Far From Home

Pony Dot Com
Budweiser
Ingenue
Cool Beans
Halcyon Hawthorne
Helicon Take Notice
Strike a Pose
Cardiff Mardi Gras
Blue on Blue
Dreamworks
Toy Story
Ballou
Hillcrest Blue Winsome

Mediums:
All About Me
Blue Mist
Light Up the Year
Clever Endeavor
Tuscany
Toy Story (lovely roan)
Heart’s Desire

Absolut Snap
Salvandi Speakeasy
Knickerbocker

Larges:

Well, I just have too much free time on my hands!

can’t forget Newsworthy in the Larges. Who’s Kidding Who is my absolute favorite pony. My heart melts for grays. I watched him & Sam Schaefer go a couple times in Ocala and just died.

Bah! Thought I already had him in there. He’s pretty snazzy. Going back to edit…

I also remember hearing about one named Snapdragon, who I think might’ve been a pretty famous medium? I just really liked that name.

Liseter Clever Star (a large)
Austitatious (sm)
Rainbow Canyon (sm)
Buffalo Soldier (sm)
was there a Toy Soldier?
Harry Winston (med?)
Northwinds Onyx (med)
Whiskey Rocks (med)

also, all the Bunny ponies! I love their names omg.

For larges there is also:

MoKoo Jumbee
Cavalli
Lands End Mad Hatter
Mapleside Magic Dancer
Madam Alexander
Emerson (I too am wondering where he ended up, he was gorgeous!)

Emerson was gorgeous! I believe he has had some health issues.
