Famous ponies?
Thalia is more than welcome to claim him, as he is by her great Epic! He is sort of a Helicon pony

Whispering Hill, the black WB pony, currently lives with me in Raleigh. I’m definitely enjoying reliving my junior years on him, and I’m very happy to have him to ride!
Both Epic and Country were superb stallions!! I am glad Whispering Hills is happy and safe. If he ever needs a retirement home, let me know  If you are still pony size (even large pony size) yeah for you!!! I have always loved him and wanted him so much when the Weisman’s were selling him, but had no one for him. enjoy him!!

What about Navigator? He idid quite well in the day!

I remember

I C Blue Shadow
Himself the Elf (what a great name!)
Yes I Can
Long Acre Rhapsody in Blue
Magical Cloud (a great large that the Firestone’s had)
Buttons n’ Bows
Shenandoah Sundowner
Dreamboat
Strike a Pose
Hillcrest Better Than Blue
Tickle Me Pink
Kiss Me Not
Captain Hook
Galen Mica
Beach Boy
Indiana Jones (Vanessa Haas)
Advance to Boardwalk
First Frost
Foxhollow Shooting Star
and My Buddy

I loved him too!!

Aw, Buzz Light Year and Tickle Me Pink were both with my trainer in their last days! I always forget that they were well known ponies.

We have Time to Talk (Timmy)! My daughter shows him in Children’s pony and does very well.

On the subject of imported, my old bosses in Belgium were the ones that found Balou! Trail riding on the side of a road! Quite a lucky find, that one.

This is an old thread but…

Hillcrests Blue Gemstone, Incrediblue and First Blue had major circuit wins within the last 10 years and belong on that list-think they were Smalls…and Brownland’s Mr Mack out of the same barn was huge in the Small Greens very recently.

I don’t see Remember the Laughter on here anywhere, certainly deserves a mention. and recently across the bridge IIRC.

Quite the find indeed!!! What a nice pony!

Ingenue and Newsworthy are my two favorites. I’ve loved all the ones listed but Newsworthy was a pretty special pony.

I too loved Navigator and had a brother to him for one of my clients whom also turned out pretty darn nice.

I used to stalk pony hunters (oops!)

My favorites were:
Tippy Hendron
Hillcrest Blue Gemstone
Blue On Blue
Slumber Party
Gayfields Steamy Windows
Hi-Lite
Ingenue
Pony Dot Com
Cardiff Mardi Gras
Helicon Take Notice
Enchanted Forest
Tuscany
Rockport
Keep Dreamin
Mokoo Jumbee
Newsworthy
Vanity Fair
Cherrybrook Blue Suede Shoes

Anyone know what happened to Sam Schaefer’s Winston?? I adored that pony and he had the cutest face!

:yes:Love Elfie!!!1

weebiscuit(small) came out from know where-made big eq blog from wellington. was 11th overall at pony finals, 8th in the over fences, and 11th in the top 10 stake!
I know this thread is old but OH MAN. We love Weebiscuit. A local A show out here last summer was pretty small, so they ended up combining horses and ponies in their traditional Saturday night classic. Of course, the tiniest entrant ended up leading the victory gallop, warmbloods loping behind his tiny little legs.

I took a ā€œstalker photoā€ of one of the juniors from our barn standing on the hill outside of the ring as Weebiscuit rode by. I put it on Facebook and the little girl’s mom ended up catching wind and commenting on it. hahaha

Like I said, we love Weebiscuit!

El NiƱo is still going strong!!

My daughter was over the moon to read this post. El NiƱo is still marching around the Pony Hunter Ring with no intentions of slowing down! They tried and he wanted none of it!!

I can’t post a picture otherwise I’d show you how cute they are together!!

I saw El Nino this winter at WEF. I took a picture of him for a friend.

Indeed!

Some pictures of El NiƱo are in this article:

And since this thread was bumped up, I will add that Portait Painter, Navigator, and What About Bob are still around, leading easy lives.

And somewhat incredibly, Snow Wonder is still upright and enjoying his retirement. He probably predates every pony mentioned on this thread by a wide margin, except (possibly) Stroller.
