Farnley Bronze Star - Chester Broman
Does anyone have any background or show info on this pony? I rode him when he was in his 20’s when I was a kid in the '90’s.

Glenmure Liberty Bell
Glenmure is no connection to the Glenmore prefix that was registered in the 1970s. I’ve seen it also. Liberty Bell was imported in the early 1980s ('83???). There is a Glenmure prefix registered in the UK, so she may have imported something with the prefix already intact.
Her imported ponies were British Riding Ponies and she had several that were outstanding imports.
Does anyone have any photos of Liberty Bell? Also what does BRP stand for? Does anyone know how tall he was. I remember meeting him when I was a kid, I think he was around 13 hands, but can’t remember. I have Maybelline (formally Glenmore Trudy) by Glenmure Liberty Bell and Glenmore Lucy Lockets. Any one have any of photos of her too. She was beautful. I wish I had taken more photos when I was a kid and met them years ago.
BRP
BRP stands for British Riding Pony. But that’s all I can answer. I didn’t see Glenmure Liberty Bell on allbreedpedigree, which sometimes will have photos.

He won the Large Pony Model at Devon one year and the Large Pony Hunter Stake at The North Shore Horse Show on Long Island when it was one of the largest shows in the country. If I remember correctly, he was in the top five in the country in the Large Pony Division. He was a beautiful pony, beautiful mover, but a little weak with his knees over fences. He alos was shown in some dressage classes by Chester Broman. Bronzie was also a very kind pony.
Farnley Planet - was Izzy Torsiello not sure who has him now
Shenandoah Picture- currently in foal I think, does walt/trot lessons at Twin Lakes Farm…she’s already had two babies also.
Woodland’s Pink Shadow - Ellen something used to have this pony, I think it might be retired?
farnley blue chip was shown and owned by Hillary Schlusemeyer, was retired and eventually passed on. Farnley Hi C was retired to being a broodmare some time ago…and just as a side not McGreggor finally passed on about 2 months ago…mean as a snake til the end…
Can anyone tell me more about McGreggor? I have a mare whos dam is Lady McGreggor but I was never able to find out much about him.
Farnley Grey Flannel
Farnley Grey Flannel ,Cookie . He was my first pony . I loved him soo much ,too me he looked like a mini Peterbuilt Special ! I had him in the 80’s 86-91 ? He took me from mini ss to ss I hated the equ so we did hunters . Man was that pony ever flashy . He had some odd quirks would not jump red flowers didnt matter who was on him! and would not jump 2’6 . I was so sad when we had to sell him so i could do the Childerns . I would love to know if he was still around . We rode Zone2 . I loved Glenmore Colport!!! If memory serves me he was dapple in the early 90’s .
I just saw a sign that Shenadoah White Lace is looking for a companion home. Not sure if she is sound, but ad says she’s still sassy!
Pedigree says she was born in 77’, so she’s now 34.

Wish I was still in NJ, we’d take Lacey in a heartbeat.
Foxhollow Catch A Star
I had a Foxhollow pony at FCHC whose prefix had been dropped. He was very much a gentleman. Nancy Yaskin started him and I bought him from Karen Gatt (who also had a Woodland pony in the mid 80’s, Woodlands Silver Cricket).
Here’s a photo of Catch A Star and I in 1987:

I remember so many of the ponies mentioned on this thread very well. I had hacked Glenmore Hearts of Fire a few times when Allison owned him. So many fond memories…
I had My Friend Pooh, who was actually Glenmore Guess before whoever had him changed his name. Story is that Chanel was bred to a stallion I am forgetting the name of, then turned out with Grey Cloud, who was her sire too. It isn’t quite clear who his actual sire was, the other stallion or Grey Cloud, so it’s a guess. Oops! One of the best moving ponies in his day, though. I believe he is still around, but might not be showing anymore.
Allison Broadbent Vandenhouten - Just saw this about Farnley Bronze Star. I use to show him in the 80’s and we bought him from the Broman’s in NY. He was a fantastic large pony and we showed in Ohio, Tenn., KY mainly. When I got my horse, we sold him to Carolyn Knabb in Ohio. I’ll have to dig up some pictures. He was a beautiful pony and won the model at Devon. He was a great teacher too!!! I miss him dearly.

Hello, does anyone have any information on the current whereabouts of the aforementioned Glenmore Pink Slip (Pinky) descendants? I used to own him when I was young! Thank you in advance!
You’ll likely get more responses if you start a new thread with a new title with the info you’re seeking. Good luck!
