Favorite...ahem...undies?
I always wear cotton panties, for riding I’ve found that Hanes boxer briefs for women are most comfortable. They’re long enough that they don’t ride up and I’m not sitting directly on a seam. It’s entirely possible that I wouldn’t be able to wear those to ride, though, were I not using the best product in the world: Anti-Monkey Butt Powder. Used just like baby powder, but a million times better than baby powder. I’ve tried so many anti-chafing products (Body Glide, etc) and absolutely nothing else works anywhere near as well.
Yes to all of this!! Love the men’s boxer briefs and use the anti monkey butt with it!

I could have sworn I gave an update! Sorry guys.

Okay, UnderArmor, liked the brief but I’m a street size 10/12 breeches 30/32 depending on cut and the one size fits all really didn’t. Maybe a more slender rider would be more comfortable. They were tossed.

Jockey skimmies, my favorite for warm but not hot weather. They have a slightly bulky feel, even though my hubby promised he couldn’t see a thigh line through my summer weight Tropical Rider breeches.

Knix briefs were my favorite for really hot weather. I still needed the monkey butt powder to keep the actual breeches from not causing the rubs but the Knix were comfortable and very light weight. And didn’t move! Very comfy and worth the price.

Another suggestion by my trainer’s partner is to wear capri style nylons found in pharmacies like CVS or Walgreens under breeches. These improve slip across the breeches and help to keep breeches cleaner so she washes them less. I haven’t tried this yet as I messed up my knee in July and sent my mare off to a friend for August and early September. I’ll try this option this fall but by then the weather is cooler so I’m not sure I’ll see a huge difference.

Thanks for all the help, guys!
