Favorite Small Businesses

Anyone know any small businesses that make 2 inch wide belts in various colors? I have a LOVELY one from Handy Hunter Boutique that I adore, but now I want more colors- for less then Tailored Sportsmen belts

Not a small company but Ovation make 2 inch wide belts that look very much like the TS and are about $35. Rebecca Ray and Ruespari are small companies and make lovely belts but they are in TS price land.

I do something which is a bit unusual. Not sure if I’m allowed to post a link or not?! But I do portrait models of peoples horses:

This isn’t exactly a horse item, but I love Skidmore’s leather cream! I have used it on my tack, non-riding boots, Birks, pretty much every leather thing I have. Skidmore’s

I feel obligated to throw a little shout out for the place I work: The Cheshire Horse of Saratoga! We are the little guy to the big Cheshire Horse in NH. We stock a little bit of everything, including our own supplements and apparel

in an effort for a little shameless self promotion, i recently started a company, Fowl Dog, that makes pet travel products, specifically bench seat covers and soon to be launched pet restraints. I started the company because I loved taking my dogs with me to the barn and shows but got sick of them trashing my truck with mud, barn dirt, hair, footing… you name it. All products are sewn in the USA, and designed with the equestrian/dog lover in mind!
PS, we are looking for Tack Stores to carry our seat covers, so if you know if a retailer, please let me know!

Thank you very much! Thats another product im trying to line up in retail stores… except those are much better suited for pet shops and gift/card stores. The seat covers were designed for equestrians with barn dogs

Completely obsessed with LeFash NY shirts. They are pricey but so well worth it. When I had my old job, I wore them under my business suits often. I also wear them out on the town. I have gotten more use from those Thant any piece of clothing.

Higher Standards Leather Cleaner. One word: Aromatherapy

Tucker Tweed: I have Louis Vuittons I have tried to trade in for TTs and she just isn’t taking them. Lol. Her purses truly are quality and the craftsmanship is amazing. You also cannot beat the price.

All three allow you to feel like you are living a life of luxury without a massive price tag.

Is Riding Warehouse considered a small business? I love them! They have great stuff, great prices, and awesome customer service. They are my first stop when I’m looking to buy something. Waiting on a package as I type!

I second Belmont, I love riding warehouse!

Oh it looks like some people are self promoting on here - so here is a product I sell for one of my previous BO’s who makes them! It is a headband/neckwarmer combo that is so warm and comfy, and fits under most helmets for winter riding. I bought one from her last year and I loved mine so much I practically begged her to let me sell them! Feel free to PM me if you’re looking for any Secret Santa gifts, I have a lot of cute patterns!

Love Bahr. Always my first stop at the Royal Fair.

Is Pony Express Girls still in business? I really liked them, but I don’t think they have updated their site in over a year. Unless I have the wrong business in mind.
