The problem is they can as easily take out a chip and replace it
In the world of dishonest people the obvious tools of security become their defenses. I just put chips in some of my horses and found out from the vet it would not be that hard to locate th chip and replace it. It works only for a pure theft where the satelite can pick up th signal from the chip until they have time to replace it.
I learned that the hard way with padlocks. Locks and bolts :yes: keep out honest folks not crooks.
Wow… I never would have thought to go “that far” as to remove a chip… but then again look who you’ve been dealing with… ugh!
I guess we pay for the “schooling” of the bad guys. We pay to put htem in jail and they learn how to beat the latest technology…

Just another reason for following the direction of the court…and protect the members of the USEF…NO FELONS convicted of FRAUD!

At my first barn I learned about just every evil trick a dealer can pull, to pass a crooked horse. I was lucky I had a great staff of experienced horse traders who kept me from being scammed. Well at least some of the time.
They didn’t pass a law with it being a capital crime against horse traders, because they were like your friendly grocer. I’ve had guys who tried to sell a three legged horse because you save 25% on shoes.
This is not a thread to be ignored
It is vital to all of us to know that the Courts have taken a stand for us in favor of honest horse dealers. Kentucky has taken a lead in defining agents. Now, we just need the Federation to back up the courts.

Looks like the winds of change are at least stirring…keep up the pressure and exposure…Keep everyone informed…we have nothing to hide…NOTHING to lose!
The number of those who have never heard this TRUE story and that of the Horse Killers…are coming to realize that the USEF must respond and answer to the US Olympic Committee. The connection of the National Governing Body to the USO…is already established.
Sure I am for rehabilitation…In the case of the abuser…you never give them the opportunity to abuse…an innocent (horses or God forbid Children!) again!
I agree that this is a new generation and the events are history.
It is important to make everyone aware lest we forget how easy it for professionals to fall into that trap. The easy way to recoup money for a bad horse deal is morally corrupt. The whole generation may be unaware. What makes me sad is beeing more concerned for the welfare of those PEOPLE versus the welfare of those HORSES.

Both are forbidden to engage in horse activites by the Order of Fedrral Court…with the exception of Keg’s mom’s horse where it is located in southern VA.

I had seen that ad before, but really didn’t think anything of it because at that point Josh was still riding. It wasn’t until 2 months after that ad was published, that he was told he could not train while on probation. To me he is just taking a break from the rat race. Only time will tell.
