Well my arms are all scratched up but he’s cute as a button. There are two versions of Mobile…cuddly little man who gives the sweetest kisses and wild bounce off the wall runs across the room to launch himself at my bare leg all claws and teeth while I’m on work zoom calls

So did all his litterbox issues get fixed with his broken tail gone?
Zero litterbox problems!! Tbh he was fine with the old tail it just dragged through everything which was gross. He has 100% control and always uses the litterbox. That was the huge moment of relief after surgery when he still had that control.
You can feel where the surgery was done it’s higher up into the spine than you would think. He’s not bothered by it at all and will let me rub or scratch his little rump.

It looks like his little bottom has healed really well. The vet did a great job. Mobile is adorable! Thanks for sharing him with us.

But please tell me more about that feeding platform that’s mounted on your wall—because I never knew that was an actual thing, but I need one badly!

It’s really nice I got it on Amazon. Right now it’s mounted so he has to climb up his cactus tree to get on it. The bigger cats just aren’t as agile. Yea they’re all doing good so far! Right now he’s out in “gen pop” all night. I’m using a scat mat to keep the other cats from scratching on my door non stop. We’re going on vacation and he’ll be with everyone for 5 days then when we get back I’ll work with my pup so he can be out all of the time.

I love it! Right now I’m sacrificing my bar-height kitchen counter for the dish of kitty crunchies to keep it away from the surprisingly resourceful dogs.
With this I could reclaim a lot of counter space—but I harbor no illusions about keeping the cats off of it once the food is relocated.
