He is already practicing his peep, like @BraveSC’s Lola! 
How do you have the cone tied on when you do have it on? If its only tied around his neck, you may want to try using a longer tie and making a figure 8 around the tabs of the cone and then crossing them under his front legs and tying it up on his shoulders. Make sure you double knot it, as some are clever enough to scratch with hind legs and untie the bow.

Right now he’s keeping it on when it’s tied around his neck. Honestly I think they tied it really loose. I’ll keep the figure 8 in mind if he figures this out.

What a cute peek-a-boo! So glad he used the potty and is acting like the normal bouncy kitten. He really is the cutest conehead ever.
Definitely go with your preferred vet on this one. I would really have a hard time with a vet telling me I could not be present during the exam - plus it sounds like she was really dismissive of your concerns and reports as his finder and care-taker.
IME, my favorite small animal vets are used to dealing with general casual pet owners who are not very knowledgeable about animals, so once they learn that I’m a hand-on horse person who knows more than most of their clients about animal husbandry, they open up and we can have good discussions about animal medical stuff that the average city dweller would consider “icky” or “gross”.

OP- have you seen the “Peepy Cat” thread on here in The Menagerie? Your little boy reminds me so much of my girl and he just makes me smile! Especially the picture of him peeking out over his cat bed

It’s annoying because usually I explain my level of experience and knowledge and then vets are great with me. This woman just didn’t really listen she kept feeding me tons of basic info AFTER I told her that I already had 4 other cats. Unfortunately my fav vet who also owns the practice is on vacation next week. The next checkup and vaccine will be with the original vet. I am fully prepared to insist that he does not leave the room with me or else I’ll walk out the door. I’ll grit my teeth and smile through the rest. Then the following week for the suture removal I was able to schedule that with my fav vet.
The concern is really the tissue that was dying back, he might need another antibiotic shot to back up the first one. We really want to keep all of that tissue healing well.

I’m so glad he used the litter box! I hope he continues to feel good and recover well.
He is just adorable! So cute and it sounds like he has a great personality. You can see it in the pictures. If he was attacked by an animal and got away, he’s probably very happy to have found a great home.

Sooooo lol he feels great. So great that he’s wrapping around playfully with paws claws and teeth anything including hands arms feet 
today I reached down to pet him and he scaled up my sweatshirt arm like a little lynx. We’re discouraging anything with teeth but right now I can’t play with him to tire him out because of the stitches. I have a feeling we’re going to be really building up our cat toy collection with him. Once it cools down a little bit I’m buying the fence toppers to keep cats in our fenced dog run off the house. It’ll be an extra 30ft by 20ft outside that they can play in.

So I took up all of Mobile’s toys to try and keep him quiet so he has a new game lol when I walk in the room he pops out from the corner and grabs me around my foot/leg. Luckily with no claws it’s just a cute game. I’ll try to get a video.

I can see that you all just hate him and he is sooooo mistreated.
